This is why people hate going to the car dealerWhen I custom ordered a new Ford Maverick from Luther Ford in Homer City Pa, they told me the price was to be MSRP. It finally arrived and then sales manager Rob added on an additional $6,000 in markup above and beyond what we had agreed to at time of order. This is deceptive and wrong - shady business practices should not be rewarded with your patronage. Avoid this stealership

DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALER!!! Ford should be ashamed of themselves.After getting our F-150 appraised by Mike on a Tuesday, we were told that if we got our inspection done we could get an extra thousand. Did the inspection and drove it literally from the inspection and hour away and then "Billy the bully" took our keys, looked at the car and walked away without a word leaving us confused and wondering. Even though the inspection returned everything green for tire inspection. Billy said that the tires were too worn and needed to be replaced. After talking to Mike again he changed his story that there was a split in the tire. I inspected all 4 tires and found 1 with less than a quarter inch cosmetic split on the inside of the tire track. No other tire was affected. These guys are shady and their dealings are absolutely horrendous with no regard for customer service or follow through on their dealings.

Do not go to this dealership! They are manipulative and conniving weasels. They lure you into some "great big sale" and connect with you over social media to get you out there only to trap you! You put a deposit down to see a vehicle that is suppose to come and never does! Then when you are weary of the scheme they played they then insult you and then don't give back your deposit, stating "finders fees" and such. Such illegal practices they maintain. I'm filing a complaint with Ford and BBB and suing them for wrongful law and punitive damages. They are horrible!!!!

They were nice until we got the car the didn't put an inspection sticker on so we went back but then they told us they ordered parts for it but they didn't tell us it needed parts before and we said or old car was their responsibility because they owned it then they said that they would call the police on us for holding it and not towing it Please don't go there

Needed two tires for my GT convertible they are an odd size shopped local shops Luther's came up with the best price mounted and balanced.ordered and installed very next day very pleased!!!!!

They were anxious enough to get us in the door to buy our car. But once we were in the door and got a price agreed to, their follow up stunk. Several times we were told, "I'll call you to confirm..." Yet, we always had to initiate the follow up. And when we left messages, we never got a call back. "What's the point of leaving a message when you never call back!" Was one of the messages we left. With no call back. Luckily the check cleared and we won't have to do anymore business with them.

Completely dishonest! False advertising! My husband and I made the trip up to Ebensburg to look at a Jeep Wrangler that they had listed on their website, cargurus and autotrader for $34,000. We test drove the vehicle, met with the salesman Sean as well as the "manager" Mike. They gave us a written offer of 34k on the Jeep. We weren't quite where we wanted to be, so they told us to take a couple of days to think about it and call them back if we were still interested. We took those two days to search banks for rates, secure financing and in the mean time, passed up another vehicle we had also considered.I called Sean three days later to tell him that we would accept the offer and Sean said "well, there was one little mistake, the Jeep wasn't actually 34k, its $42,500." I asked to speak with Mike the "manager"(who made sure to mention to us on our visit that he was "pretty high up in the company" said "whoops, it was a mistake, our picture guy uploaded the wrong pics". When I reminded him that he made us a formal offer in writing at 34k, his answer was "well, you didn't take it and it was a mistake, haven't you ever made a mistake?" To which I answered, yes, but if it was in writing I would have certainly honored it!"I will NEVER consider purchasing a vehicle here or any other Luther dealership again. My suggestion to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle through them, BEWARE!!!!

I had such a pleasant experience at this dealership. Not only did Beth do an excellent job, she was very kind, personable, and really seems to care about her clients! I will never again go anywhere except Luther Ford!

I seriously hope this place gets shut down. They sell completely shitty used cars and once you drive it off the lot and it breaks down you're screwed. I called yesterday to tell them my car I bought 2 weeks ago was acting funny. They said there was nothing they could do until I drove 4000 miles. (I've driven not even 1000 miles yet) My car broke down today and I'm currently writing this from a parking lot. Stranded. Every single one of the lights on my dash is lit up and my engine won't start at all. DO NOT EVER BUY A CAR FROM THIS TERRIBLE DEALERSHIP. I now have to contact a lawyer on what to do about this car!

Bought a used car from them. Upon getting it home the a/c didn’t work. Took it back over sat for three hours and they said it was overcharged. Had to take it back for a dent repair it was out for six days. With no call from salesman on status of vehicle we had to call. It was finally dropped of at our house and plastic in back seat from painting, piss poor detail job with compound in cracks and black trim. Also someone used a half tank of gas. Very dissatisfied with them and will never buy from them again.

So now that the truck is home, I just want to say that Luther Ford Lincoln is low down to the core! They lied to my corporate caseworker and said all the scratches were out of the truck, and they were not! They refused to take responsibility even though Ford Motor Company said it was, multiple times, I have emails to prove it! We were then told that either we take it or walk away from it. If we would have walked away, we couldn't have received another truck until at least 2023 because order banks are closed . Big eff you to us. Even though they signed for the truck off the trailer and knew since 4-5-22 that this truck had scratches...BRAND NEW TRUCK WITH 6 miles when it landed! And this was a lemon buyback purchase to boot! We have been in this since DECEMBER y'all! When this started to happen, the left us hang to dry to go against corporate, and we made it through without them. No one wanted to step up and help us, this was a stressful and LONG ordeal! Also it was "cleaned" and by all means if taking off plastic and throwing new carpets over dirt and debris is clean, well then I'm baffled. And shoving loads of compound into the scratches to try and hide them and it was sloppy to boot. I was still wiping wax off it when we showed up. They waited until last minute even though they knew the whole month. We had to take it for a test drive to our body guy and fortunately he can pretty much fix them BUT it's on our dime! Come to find out ford warranty doesn't cover scratches which was a mistake on ford customer services end. We're happy with the truck, but extremely appalled at the way we were treated by certain staff at Luther Ford. They were ignorant, rude, defensive and in denial. We really wished we could have had this truck dropped elsewhere and we tried and it couldn't happen, because other places would have fixed it immediately!

STAY FAR AWAY FROM LUTHER FORD. I personally would not purchase another vehicle from Luther ford. I have purchased cars from a lot of different dealerships and Luther ford is a nice dealership with good inventory but I think the way they handle issues after a sale is very poor. I had an issues with the passenger door hinge breaking just a year after buying the suv new and the response I received from service and my sales person was terrible. Yes I was very slightly out of the 36000 mile warranty and that is not Luther fords fault but I didn't expect the response to be that it was my fault that the passenger door broke for driving the vehicle to much in the year I owned it. I wish the dealership would have helped me handle this better as I would have liked to do more business with them in the future but at this point I sold the vehicle and moved on. I'm sure the owner will post an untruthful response to save image like he did on my Google review. Just look at all the bad reviews this dealership has and stay away.
