I just want to highly commend postal employee Corey, who went way out of his way to attend to my needs. Without a doubt, there still are some very good employees at USPS.

We were there last week for the passport at their walking time, the lady named Mary was there, she was like I can’t do passport things today because it takes longer time and I am by myself. We are like oh okay! We checked on your website and saw you have walking hours so we came but no problem we will back by making an appointment. We were there today at our scheduled time of 1pm. I was like we are back, we have an appointment of today at 1pm(smiling), the lady( same one named Mary) was like you are early I will have you wait and will take other people before you! We were there sharp @12:52pm which was eight minutes before. We stepped away on the side with 2 yrs and 6 yrs old boys(crying). After waiting for almost 30 mins pass our appointment time. I walked up to her and showed our confirmation of the appointment day and time on the phone . She was like, oh I don’t see you guys on my list, I was so confused and ask her so why you made us wait this long. Oh I don’t see your name here! And goes like next and keep taking other people. She is one of the most unfair, rude and raciest people I have ever seen and met! Mary, I wanted to let you know that Karma is real! You will get back, whatever you give! Merry Christmas to you and your family!

Wildly rude.I called in the morning and spoke to Lori "the passport clerk" and double checked what I would need to renew my passport. Just my old passport since it just expired last week. She was short, but it was early so no big deal.We come in and filled out the application and overhear we will need a check or money order to pay for that specific service. Lori never mentioned that. Both Lori and Dana get progressively worse with every customer until it was our turn.I didn't bring my checkbook and they only accepted Debt cards for passport services... a detail she didn't mention 20 minutes before that when we spoke on the phone. Okay. I grin and bare it and just pay for a money order. No big deal, but it shows she clearly doesn't care about her job. We remained polite and took tried to roll with it.We then go to the back with Dana to get the passport photo taken. Dana takes it before saying a word and doesn't show me the photo. I politely ask to see the photo before it is printed (since it will be my passport photo for a decade). Dana begrudgingly takes another and again refuses to show it to me.Lori could not help herself and comments: "It's not a glam shot, we are making sure it's within the regulations". The photo was a service we were paying for... they weren't doing us as a favor, I was simply asking them to do their job. They were both nasty from beginning. The longer we were there they nastier they got with each customer. I will never step foot in this place again. You think they would have an ounce of respect for their community and customers but they were just rotten from beginning to end.

Absolute nightmare of a post office. Not sure why tax dollars support this location. They claimed to have attempted delivery (they did not). After filing for a missing, undelivered package, I magically received it 2 days later. I then received a call from the Hershey location today. The male employee was antagonistic, to say the least. He also couldn't care less that this seems to be an on-going issue of marking deliveries "attempted" when, in fact, they have not attempted at all. In fact, the day they "attempted" was a national holiday and their office was closed. This place needs better training and if they have an employee responding to claims....they should at least pretend to care. Thank goodness the claim got them to deliver the package.

12-30-2021 I went to pick up my daughter mail at her po box and check when P.O. Box was due for renewal. Then renew 6months. Mary was at the window. Mary said she couldn’t give me the P.O. Box expiration date because it was more than 30 days out. Then Mary said , maybe February. My daughter called the office and was told to return to post office the next day. We were unable to renew online, received an error. 12-31-2021 I returned to the post office, Mary again said she couldn’t give me the renew date! She said Lori would have to look it up for you. Lori was their yesterday, Mary didn’t ask then! Arrived at 1:10pm - left 1:33pm. Lori gave me the renewal date and I completed the renewal form including check for payment. Lori said you can only renew online within 30 days before.

I had an appointment for a passport application. I arrive well before my appointment time. I rang the bell repeatedly. I could hear people in the back. After ringing the bell repeatedly, knocking and calling out, trying to call, until after my appointment time was over. Idk how I'm supposed to apply for my passport. This is insanity. No wonder usps is struggling, their service is horrible. I wish I could give negative stars.

I give two stars not because the service is bad, but due to the poor site and terrible parking. Very tight when there is a line waiting for an open window. Frontline staff are great. This new post office was built for convenience and looks, not the for the community needs. A true shame. I now go to Palmyra instead.

I went to ship a package the other day and they weren't there. As in, the entire trailer that they've been operating out of recently was gone. No notice from the township, no signs anywhere, just that building it was supposed to be attached to completely empty surrounded by gravel and debris. As I walked back to my car confused wondering if I was having a psychotic breakdown, two separate people in the parking lot stopped me and asked where the post office went. So not only was I absolutely sane, others were equally bewildered by the sudden vanishing act of the Hershey post office. Mind you that this all took place less than 2 weeks before Christmas. The already swamped Hummelstown office had to deal with the three of us now because no one in Hershey could tell us where to find the mysterious missing post office. After wasting my time and evidently plenty of other Hershey residents, they have yet to put any notification up clarifying their official move to the new location which is literally only a block away on the corner of the newest shopping complex! It is not visible from the old location and not advertised in anyway from the parking garage that you are still more or less forced to park in. A simple sign would have made all of our lives easier that day and I can presume that we're were not the only ones to experience this mind numbingly avoidable inconvenience.

People here are so lazy. I live at Hershey Plaza, and the post office refuses to deliver packages to the upper floors (2-10). We even have elevators and we pay the post office good money to deliver packages right to our doors. The post office expects elderly and disabled people in wheelchairs and on oxygen to walk up tp the post office and pick up heavy packages. It is a disgrace when the post office has healthy workers who can simply take a few extra minutes to deliver a few packages a day. When you call to complain, they act like you are asking them to move Mount Everest.

I have called twice about missing packages. One "delivered" 5 days ago and another yesterday. Both times told they needed to research more. Paul still has not called back. Online status shows as left in mailbox but the package would have not fit! If Amazon would give me a choice, I would never use USPS. WOW, so this just got deeper, got called back and told the packages were left at the door...both other packages that were really left there I had no problem with being there several hours later when I got home. I guess Paul didn't realize I worked the late shift yesterday when he told me he was my delivery guy yesterday and said he looked around for my packages because he didn't. He didn't even give me the right mail or come into the hallway let alone walk up the stair to the second floor.

Called about information and was given one price. Came in and told a different price. When I asked why they said because their supervisor doesn't know anything and gave me the wrong information. Shouldn't everyone know what's going on. Plus a little rude about it.
