After years of taking the same medication they now require appointments every six months just to be able to charge you. Also they don’t care if you need your prescription and don’t bother to call you if there is an issue refilling it. I have to call the prescription line several times just to have them successfully fill it. If you’re going to make me leave a message, wouldn’t you’ll bother at least responding to it?? Stupid stupid staff there, it’s always someone dropping the ball. Just ridiculous

Stefani Magazino is fantastic. The poor rating has nothing to do with her care. It does however have to do with the incredibly poor response time and timeliness of referrals. I now have been waiting well over a month for a referral to be resent after needing additional information. The place has not been the same since Penn State took over and Frank left. Do yourself a favor and save yourself plenty of time because you will sit on the phone a lot trying to even schedule an appointment, find another office.

Went for my annual wellness physical and they told me my appointment was only 1 year, and insurance mandates one year and one day. They told me that I could make another appointment. I told them no way, with all the problems my wife had there with other administrative errors, I need to find a new doctors office. Place has gone downhill since Frank Battista retired.

Had appointment yesterday to have area on my face checked for possible skin cancer. PA looked at it so quickly there was no way she could have determined what it was. She stated it was just an old age spot. How rude. She was only in the room for not even 10 minutes. Told me to go home and take a picture of it. Then take another one in three months. Definitely looking for another family doctor. Sure isn't the same staff as in the past. Been going there for at least 25 years. And no matter how much patients complain it will never change. So sad.

The wait times are consistently terrible and never worth the wait. I have left every appointment feeling very frustrated. Will find a different practice moving forward

Front desk rep Amanda was sooo rude it is unbelievable. Very questionable of why someone working for a medical office can lack empathy and compassion.

No longer the practice it used to be!!! I brought my entire family to this practice more than 20 years ago. Dr. Batista, Dr. Leiss, and Dr. Thoryk were the best there ever was! The care we received from them was personal professional and exactly what we needed for our family. The very moment that Penn State took over this practice it went to pot! I don't even know if there are actual Physicians on staff any more. Just a few PA's and NP's!!!! This new ownership is very interested in rushed appointments and making money with unnecessary appt. requirements making you come in for every 6 months to get a prescriptions refilled ... even though you have been taking it for years...it was never required in the past... they see this as an opportunity to make money, no longer a practice able to care for it's patience.

I've been with them for over 30 years. My doctor recently retired and they wanted to set me up with someone else. I made an appointment but had to cancel because I had covid. I forgot to re-schedule. 2 months went by and they called me to make an appointment because they could not continue my heart meds until I see them. I said ok. They set me up with next available time, 3.5 months out. They cancelled my prescription! I guess I'm supposed to see if I can live without my heart meds for 3 months. Wish me luck.

Incredibly misinformed. I accompanied my sister to her physician appointment today. On arrival I was directed to replace my N95 medical grade mask with a surgical mask. As a previous Director of Surgery I can attest I know something about infections and their transmission. The N95 is 95% effective in preventing infections for the wearer and is recognized by the AMA and CDC as the standard. The surgical mask is worn primarily to prevent transmission from the wearer to those around them. It is used in the OR to protect the patient, not the surgeon. Its 60% effective in protecting the wearer. Despite the massive amount of evidence they informed me I would have to leave if I didnt comply.Ive contracted Covid twice in the past year and do the best I can do to prevent another infection. Medical offices are populated by the sick so the likelihood of encountering Covid is much greater. Its incredible that a medical office would be so misinformed. When I complained and attempted to educate them I was met by the office manager who incorrectly stated the CDC no longer recommends N95 masks. (The CDC and AMA both continue to recognize the N95 as the standard) My question to her to test her logic; So why do hospital staff continue to depend on the N95 as necessary PPE against Covid? Her answer, " It's the policy!"

Like others who have given reviews, I agree that the individual doctors are likeable and sometimes helpful. However, dealing with the front desk staff is always a headache, wait times are forever, follow up is poor, and I can never seem to talk directly to the person I need. As far as individualized care this practice has fallen short one too many times

I take my 90 year old mother to this practice and cannot say enough good things about them. Every doctor, CNP, RN, and aide are so patient and kind. They take the time to really listen and are not looking at the clock to get you out of the office. I appreciate all they do and I highly recommend.

Called for an appointment for my sick wife. The receptionist gives an appointment that I cannot make. She refuses to let my wife see an other practitioner. It’s a practice, but you can only see one Doc? Giving me ever excuse about history (which is on a computer can be read by anyone), to the well that’s what the Doctors want. So my sick wife can’t see anyone else….”NO”. Then the lady preceded to ask me why I can’t make that time and suggest time management techniques to me (military man) who is leaving work to take care of my wife. No I can’t make the appointment time you are suggesting it’s impossible. The audacity I received over the phone and inflexible rules put my family at risk. Thanks for doing no harm!
