This one star is for ALAN SNYDER. He needs to quit talking about politics, and, just talk about cars. But, when he started talking about religion, he was talking to much.

DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. I wish I could leave zero stars. We had a vehicle that we paid a couple thousand dollars for just a beater that we used for work. The sensor went bad and our regular mechanic diagnosed and told us a dealership HAD to fix it. We towed the vehicle to this dealership. Long story short, it took them 3 months, and they changed four parts without our permission, including a good battery. They also led us to believe these parts would fix the vehicle. After sending a bill for over $1400, they wanted us to then tow our car back out of their dealership because they still didn't fix the bad part. Essentially they were just trying different things to figure out the problem in charging us for all of them when we told them what needed to be replaced from the beginning. Within what ended up being a seventeen hundred dollar bill, they charged us for resetting a part and then replacing the same part! FYI: The part that our regular mechanic originally diagnosed ended up being the problem! So they then charged us to fix that as well. Over 1700 of needless work on a 1500 car. The bad part was a 300$ fix. Customer service was despicable. They basically said :Oops, too bad, we cant take out the replaced parts even though they weren't needed because we already sent your parts back in. So pay the 1700 or we'll keep your keys and also charge storage fees 85 a day until you do." We ended up paying more for this ordeal than the vehicle is worth. DO NOT TAKE ANY VEHICLE HERE!!!

I had taken my 2017 Chevy Traverse in for an issue with the air conditioner which I purchased there 5 years ago. It was under warranty and I was convinced to buy the extended warranty which I don’t typically do. The air was blowing hot and making a sound which it never made when working properly. I was told that they would have to do a diagnostic test on the air conditioner to find out why it wasn’t working. The cost of this test was over $300 and my deductible would be $100. After a few hours I called to see a status on my vehicle and was told that nobody was there at the time and they would return my call. I finally received a call about an hour later stating that my Traverse was ready and that the cost was nearly $400. I was told that the mechanic couldn’t find anything wrong with the air conditioner and only refilled the Freon. I was told that since their mechanic couldn’t find anything else that I would have to pay the entire diagnostic fee. When I asked about the noise the air conditioner was making I was told to bring it back in if it continued. After I picked up my vehicle I drove home and the sound continued. That didn’t leave me with much confidence in the mechanics abilities and I also felt that I had been taken advantage of by them not explaining the diagnostic fee. The air conditioner was blowing cold for a few days but has now returned to hot and obviously in need of repair from a real mechanic.
This was the second visit to this dealership that wasn’t pleasant. The other was a few years ago I took it in for the yearly inspection. I had an appointment and was told that it should take about an hour so I waited in the lobby. After 2 hours I was told that my vehicle did not pass the inspection because the tires needed replaced. It took that long to come tell me that I needed new tires? The service lady said that they could replace them for me and I said that I would take it to Flynn’s tires as they do all my families tires. This would also save me several hundred dollars than the price the dealership wanted to charge me. The service lady’s attitude towards me changed after this as it clearly upset her that I wouldn’t be buying their tires. I left the dealership that day feeling mistreated by their service worker and should have learned my lesson and not returned but I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and also didn’t want to void my “extended” warranty which turned out to be worthless.
While my Traverse was in for the air conditioner I noticed on my bill that they conducted numerous tests that I didn’t ask them to do such as checking the brake pads tires and etc like they would do for the yearly inspection. When I asked why they did this they stated that was their normal policy and that there is no charge for that. I feel that all this did was make me wait longer for a service I didn’t ask for and maybe if they would have spent more time and effort on fixing my air conditioner I wouldn’t be having to write my 3rd review on this topic. The other two reviews were sent to me by the dealership a few weeks ago. One asked if I wanted to share my review on google and I checked the box for yes. It never appeared so this left me feeling both were just deleted so I went directly to google to warn anyone considering going to them for service of their vehicle. I for one will never return to them as I’m out $400 and have a hot blowing air conditioner.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE (BEWARE)
If your considering buying a car or getting your vehicle serviced go somewhere else. Our 2018 Suburban broke down in Hermitage, PA and we left it with Diehl Chevrolet Service team.
It took 8 phone calls before someone called me back and the communication process was painful for an entire month. The lack of communication between the dealership and warranty company was obvious from the beginning. Upon going to pick up the vehicle I started asking questions about the bill and came to find out that they jacked the price of the transmission up over $400.
Don't be afraid to ask questions about your bill and call other Chevy dealerships to verify prices. Beware of Diehl Chevrolet of Hermitage
