While the staff and salespeople at the auto mall were friendly and helpful during my car purchase last December, my overall experience warrants only three stars. Unfortunately, the Hyundai I bought turned out to be a lemon. Its transmission failed within just three months of purchase, despite having only 30,000 miles on it. Even after a new transmission was installed, the car continued to run poorly. I was so dissatisfied with the Hyundai that I eventually traded it in to another dealership, incurring a financial loss, to purchase a more reliable Toyota. This ordeal taught me a valuable lesson: never again will I buy a Hyundai.

The vehicle we were interested in was at a different lot. CJ & Rob brought it in and they stayed open late to allow us the opportunity to test drive and close the deal. We were home in under 3 hours with our new Jeep! A++ for fantastic and fast customer service!!

Star Pre-owned of Hellertown is a pre-owned auto dealer that treats customers fairly, with respect, and with a focus on getting you into the right vehicle within your budget. Unlike so many other dealerships that start negotiations with overpriced warranties and other junk charges on the initial terms, (I'm looking at you Fred Beans - YUCK) the numbers are straightforward, transparent, and fair.
We got the perfect truck at the right price without any pressure or heavy handed tactics to 'close the deal'. The staff at Star give you the information you need and plenty of time to look and test drive to find just the perfect vehicle. They were also able to get me financing that was better than I expected which is a huge bonus.
We had such a terrific experience from start to finish, I can highly recommend them to anyone looking. We will definitely consider them first for subsequent cars we may need. Hat tip to our sales person, Steve Miller, who was very helpful in getting us to the right vehicle and going above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the vehicle. Another hat tip to the manager, CJ for being so responsive, diligent, and helpful to getting us into the truck we wanted.

I would highly recommend Star pre owned of Hellertown. When it comes time for my next vehicle they will be the first and, most likely the only, dealership I will ,or,will even need to go to. Low pressure, knowledgeable sales staff that really wants you to get the car you want and will work with you to make it happen.

Purchased a 2021 Jeep Gladiator recently that I really loved but had a few issues. Tire pressure sensors needed to be replaced ($400) and there was some damage to the rear end ($1500) that I was not aware of at the time of purchase. Salesman and General Manager of store both assured me they would take care of and reimburse me for the tire. I have still yet to be reimbursed and they also would not reimburse for the full amount (despite saying they would verbally). After I noticed the damage - (a day later) they informed me basically there was nothing they could do. They then explained that they couldn’t have sold me the car at the price I got if it was repaired beforehand. I was never made aware of the damage in any of the disclosures. I felt completely swindled here, and would never EVER go back to a Star Auto. Be careful people!
