Place is a joke... Rudest employees cart people texting on phone sitting on the cement post near the entrance..... Cars parked in fire lane and facing opposite side of the street... Cops no where to be found.... parking in handicap when there not... Joke joke joke

Constant misinformation. I called a month before a trip overseas, asking if I could have an advance on a certain medication. I was unable to refill on the other side of the globe and I was going to run out. While it was a controlled substance, the pharmacist said this would not be a problem. After all, it was mere days before my prescription renewal.Fast forward three days before my trip, I spoke with the other pharmacist and they said “absolutely not!” I was panicked, sobbing, thinking that I was to be without my medication. I begged that he call the pharmacist that said yes and he begrudgingly obliged, refilled the med, and gave me a lecture.A similar instance happened today, I received misinformation and they called and backpedaled. Don’t trust them. They’re either incompetent or they don’t care. They have zero sympathy and I’m definitely going elsewhere.

I tried to refill my son’s medication pharmacy tech incorrectly assumed we only had medicade. ( we have private insurance but the idiot tech David wouldn’t listen) he refused to even take my other insurance card then lied to the pharmacist saying we only had one card and needed authorization. This is incorrect. I became upset because he would not listen and kept mans-planing why I needed an authorization. He also said “we are doing you a favor filling this, I can decline to refill you meds”.I called the store manager and she said pharmacies are separate and they can do what they like. Wow?!?!? This is a part of your store. This is the Giant Pharmacy. Not the independent we do what we want pharmacy.I found another pharmacy who listened took my second card and we are all set. I just feel bad for anyone who really needs this pharmacy.I’m also never shopping at this giant again.

I dont know why I torture myself! Tried to get a scanner...none working. Tried to weigh my fruit...no working scales. Went to grab a bag of white potatoes...none there. Waited 25 minutes at the deli counter and there was only 3 other people in line. Ugh! There's also tons of trash in parking lot. Cant wait for Drexeline to open.

Some of the workers there need to be checked. Their people skills are pretty bad. I understand most of the young folks don't want to be there but that does mean you need to be rude to others for just existing. Kinda embarrassing

This store is getting worse. When using the self checkout, make sure you rescan your bonus card every time they fix your machine or you will be pay -ing full price. their attendance don't know what they're doing. Or maybe they do? As of today I am done shopping havertown giant

Cashiers are extremely rude, also discounts never match whatever they have on the label. You need to fight to get the discount what they offer in the labels.

The food is fine, but the new check out system is absolutely awful. They only had self-check out, which saves the store money, but nobody likes it.I don't appreciate having a stupid machine not understand the purchase or require that I wait for an assistant 3X.These machines also make a lot of noise and make the entire shopping experience unpleasant. What happened to caring about customer experience?

Just left here a little while. I had a cashier ring me up. I stood at lottery ticket machine for at least 5 mi.utes picking scratches, maybe longer. I then stsrt walking quite fast out the store because i have to pick mu son up at train and cart just locks up, thriws my back and neck!!!!!! Wtf then a young lady says the carts just lock up to see if everything was paid for and am i offended. Are you effin serious right now? What brainiac came up with this? You are going to have tons of lawsuits because i am now on my way to the emergency room and cant turn my neck to the left because of the effin cart just locking up while im rushing out. Yes i paid foreverything andshe checked my receipt. So mow who is at fault since you just effed my neck up

Too often I encounter store employees on break in front of the store puffing on cigarettes. Disgusting. Me and my young child/pregnant wife should not be exposed to secondhand smoke while trying to shop for groceries. It's shameful that they allow this right in front of the store in the covered openings near the entrance. Even by the edge of the parking area with the picnic benches is too close to your patrons who want to breathe clean air while loading their groceries into their cars. This location and many others have multiple self-checkout lanes but the staff is inadequate to handle the flow. Too often there are multiple lanes waiting on one employee to clear a code or check the weight of something. The few times I have seen two employees working self-check-out one is often looking into the distance with a confused look when they are to be directing customers to open stalls for checkout. This happened once when the self-checkout line went back to the frozen food section. Come on lady, you really have one job at that moment. Big shout out to the guy who manages the beer/wine area... he is always so helpful and works to source really quality products from all over. The bakery has been doing a much better job of getting their donuts out in a timely manner. Just a year or two ago the donuts would be out about a half hour after opening which is an issue when I'm in charge of picking up donuts for my students and I need to be in my building by 7am, so that's an improvement. I still come in here on occasion but this is not my preferred Giant anymore... I hope they can solve the smoking issue, that seems like such low-hanging fruit.

Last night my sister and I went to this store although I normally go to the one in Lansdowne. I now regrets my decision and will not return. At the self checkout my sister removed one of the bags and the register signaled for help. It took for three registers to do the same and for me to call out a few times before someone coming and clearing it for us. She immediately returned to what she was doing which was her phone. Three of them were at the exit on their phone laughing at something that was more important than the actual customer. After paying we had to move around them because they were almost blocking the way. I am so disappointed because this is my favorite store and now I wonder what time of training are they providing their employees. ?
