I love this apartment complex.. my experience with the staff in the leasing office especially Annelisses has been great they always go above and beyond to help me and anytime I have a maintenance issue they have taken care of my problems right away. . Thanks again for making this a nice community to be a part of!!

Went for a tour today and The Lessing consultant Annalesses was great!! She was very nice and very helpful. Couldn’t have asked for a better consultant to help us.

Update: Mike came to speak to me in person. While not yet resolved, I feel content for the time being with his temporary solution.They changed the locks on apartments front entrance on 2.5.24 WITHOUT NOTICE. No one GOT KEYS for the new lock until after the 2.16.24. The keys that were provided STILL DON'T OPEN THE DOOR. I've put in 4 service requests and called twice. Nothing. No one has come by to even check to see what I'm talking about even after Stephanie in the maintenance department said "oh we'll send someone over now". I called yesterday after being locked out of the building without a phone for over a half hour in the rain. Three other people came and tried to unlock with their keys, none worked so we had to just push call buttons and hope someone was home and nice enough to let us in. I eventually got in and called again and was told "my manager will get back to you this afternoon". I still haven't heard back.. You'll pay rent and then be locked out of your apartment building.

I am a resident at Hatfield Village Apartments; I suggest not to lease apartment here as their staff is very bad, they never listen to tenants complaints; they are scammers and always trying to steal your money.I'd set up automatic rent payment using their system and suddenly one day they have updated their system and due to this update in their system from their end, automatic payment which I'd set up was canceled so my payment was not done by 5th of Dec (their time frame to pay rent is from 1st to 5th of every month); I realized that payment is not done on 7th Dec and I made payment on 7th of Dec still these morons have charged me $160 as late fees.Technically it was not my fault still they have charged me insane amount of late fees. I talked with Trisha who handles accounts regarding this but she was not listening, she was making arguments. I recommend you to not to rent at Hatfield Village Apartments.I will move out of Hatfield Village apartments soon.

Wish I could give negative stars…Cheater community. They don’t believe in making good tenant experience. Community just want to steal money from tenants in form of wrong fees after people move out from the apartments and report to the collection agency for fully wrong things. They are never going to give you back the deposit and will ruin your good credit score. PLEASE DON’T STAY!!!They’re Scammers and only believe in stealing money from good tenants. They charge me $750 for carpet stain. Avoid this place.

i'm going to have to give this place a 1 star. Me and my wife went in for a tour early november and was greeted with the most up right respect & nicest way, we felt like this was going to be the most perfect apartment to live in for the mean time but we were wrong. we ended up getting a denied application due to credit..i'm canadian and in the process of moving to the United States so i obviously won't have a proof of credit to show but this is where everything got confusing. on the day that we went in for the tour a leasing agent (i will remain nameless) gave us a pamphlet about the property & information on how the process goes. on the second page where it talks about the approval process, there are 2 options, 1st is full approval & 2nd is approval with conditions BOTH of those before the actual denial. the 2nd process is what confuses us because it says they have a " 3rd party guarantor " that can help out IF TENANTS DON'T MEET THE CREDIT REQUIREMENT. when i called the leasing agent after my wife getting a text saying we got denied at this time due to credit, i mentioned what it said word for word on the pamphlet & the leasing agent was confused and sent me the email of our application being denied.. it had no explanation just said " credit risk factor ". she further goes on to say " i don't know what you're reading but our 3rd party company is only an option when tenants can't meet the monthly rent requirements " how does that make sense? so all the stuff it says in the pamphlet is a lie? either way, we took this as a sign to stay on the search and look out for way better apartments.

Forced to sign addendum that residents have to now pay extra for water. If you didn't sign they would not renew your lease. Called Maintenance to report water leak. Water leaking in my apartment for 4 days and maintenance never showed to fix leak. So you not only have to pay rent, you have to add an extra $80 to $100 dollars to pay water bill. Even when the water loss is not your fault.

Hallways reek of weed, dog pee, and cigarette smoke. Roaches and beetles all over the entryways that eventually made their way into our apartment. Mouse got into our apartment from a hole in the cabinet. Walls are paper thin. The main door was broken many times during our 2 years there, one time resulting in a drunk man trying to get into our actual apartment. Ended up having to pay $1,000 for a soda stain on a carpet that could have been removed but they admitted they just replace the carpet if the stain doesn’t come out with shampoo-getting a professional cleaning service would be significantly cheaper but they just want new carpeting and want tenants to pay for it. I know for a fact the stain could be removed because my son spilled the same drink in another room and we easily got it out months later. This stain I forgot about until it was time to move (we had another rug on top of it). I had just given birth and was recovering so just left it. Absolutely was not expecting a bill for nearly $1,000 for a small stain! Unbelievable. A few weeks before we moved out a family moved in next to us. We received a nasty phone call from someone in maintenance demanding we move our belongings back into our apartment that were blocking entryways and all over the front yard. They did not belong to us, they belonged to the people next door but they didn’t even ask they just immediately accused us and were very rude. We never left anything laying around, ever. 0/10, would never stay here again and so thankful to be in our own home now.

The setting is really beautiful with park areas and a pool. I love the peaceful atmosphere. School Road Park is within walking distance or ride my bike. The Office communicates very well by email about matters that affect us here. The Maintenance Dept is always on top of any issues as well.

The management and staff do an excellent job. They work hard to resolve issues in a timely manner and they show genuine care. This is my second time renting from them.

Annelisses was AMAZING!!! She helped my sister and I get our first apartment together and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Annelisses was kind, knowledgeable, and personable to work with. We felt really confident moving here and are so grateful for her attention and helping us through every step of the way. My sister and I are loving it here! Thank you Annelisses!!!
