No communication at all, the person in charge is never available the phone goes straight to voicemail and she never calls back, not a place to take your kids...

I went on a tour for the preschool offered here and was shocked. One of the “aids” had her headphones hanging out of the top of her sweatshirt as if she just had them in before I walked into the preschool room. I asked the woman giving me the tour about why her headphones were out and she responded that “she’s not our employee”. I’m confused as to why people who aren’t parents or employees are in the building working with children. We then went over to the other preschool room (which was in the shopping center?) and it was a divided room that was cramped and disorganized. I will not be sending my child here and advise other parents to look elsewhere as well.

My husband and I absolutely love Play and learn Hatboro. The girls take such care of the children at school. My daughter literally talks about her teachers to us at dinner time. She tells us about her day. She has come a long way with her speech and learning progress while being in their care. Definitely recommend play and learn to anybody.

If I could give 10 stars I would! My daughter started school here in the 2's classroom and just graduated from pre-k. I can't rave enough about the teachers and staff here. They truly take the time to get to know the kids AND their families. They keep the lines of communication open at all times and they make learning fun. I am so lucky to have found this school for my child and I would recommend this school to anyone in need of a daycare. Play and Learn Hatboro can't be beat!

We love Play and Learn in Hatboro! Their caring, educated and professional teachers treat all the children as their own and are committed to seeing them succeed. They have helped our daughter become more socialized and routine oriented, and their experienced teachers help to support a healthy and happy school/home balance.Upon our daughters start at P&L, we were very nervous, especially with having people we didn't know watching her. P&L helped tremendously with comforting our family and provided us with assurance each day upon drop off and pick up. They have great communication with parents. I receive daily updates on how our daughter is doing and the sheet about her day is super detailed and informative. When you aren't with your child during the day, you don't always know exactly what they need to get through the day without you, especially if they do different things than at home (ex: bottles vs nursing). The teachers have been very helpful and respectful of bringing up topics, such as whether or not she has enough milk in her bottle, solid food and snack tips and even sippy cup exploration. This open communication is never judgmental. It means so much to us that the people caring for her during the day notice these things, provide the information and suggestions, and even help to impliment new ideas/routines after a discussion with the parent. I am so thankful for this type of support, caring and knowledge. We wouldn't even consider going anywhere else for our child care and educational needs!

Highly recommend! My 7 month-old daughter goes here, and the staff is amazing. I can have peace of mind while I'm at work because I know my little one is well cared for and well loved. I'm very thankful to have found this facility!

We had my son signed up for summer camp there last year. I couldn't find a review anywhere and now I know why. My son had a hard time transitioning and would act out by hitting, pinching, biting, whatever it maybe. Not that I agree with his behavior, but it was before we found out he had ASD. Everytime I would call to check on him they would do nothing but bash on him. The last thing you want to hear is that your boy who is having a hard time transitioning is bothersome to the person watching him. I called one time and heard him screaming bloody murder in the background. I asked what happened as I recognized his cry and they said he pushed another child and when they told him to stop and tried placing him in time out he laid like a starfish and cry. I asked if she was going to move him away from the commotion and comfort him and she said he needs to CIO and learn that is not acceptable. What??? I have been to other daycares who nurtured my son and made his transition much much smoother. This place just threw him to the wolves. I wanted to take him out, but gave it a little more time. Nothing changed at all, still negative nasty comments daily when I would call and when his grandfather would pick him up they would say his day was perfect. I finally started to ask around and heard nothing but horrible things about this location from unsanitary cleaning of air filters and toys to nasty teachers. I would NEVER bring any of my children to this location and now that we have an answer to why he was behaving this way it makes what they did ever worse. No child ASD or not should be treated that way. They showed him no love or compassion and it is truly disgusting to me, especially since they kept charging his grandfather after summer camp because he never said he was leaving. Ummmmm it is summer camp, we never signed him up for "daycare." He had to pay a termination fee and all, just Bologna.
