“Stayed for 2 nights and we were very impressed by the location, the incredibly friendly service, and beautiful rooms. Highly recommended for a relaxing stay where you can enjoy the house and the town.
Additionally, the breakfast was great and the whole staff was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. The town was also super quaint and has some really great food in the food market.”
“So much to take in! There's a lot of wonderful videos, documentation, artifacts, photos and displays. You can easily spend a day here, and theres even an area for food and drinks. We spent the day there as a family and plan to return.”
“Great place for both the sports ( Tennis and Golf).They do have both Har thru and hard tennis courts. The Golf Club is Huge too.They did set up a nice bar and restaurant both inside and outside. Overall the ambience is nice,neat and clean. We enjoyed the facility for watching a tennis tournament match. Staff is very nice and smiling.”

“We had the pleasure of attending a beautiful wedding here. The site accommodated a very large crowd, large tent and plenty of seating. We did not decide to camp on site but think next time we would be back camping would definitely be on the list of things to do.This location had a pool but was not opened at the time of us being there.Playground: They had a small swing set for the kids.Restrooms: Restrooms were normal camping style, separate bathhouse with restrooms attached.Dog-friendliness: Pets were welcome, we only had one dog in our group but didn't seem to have any issue.Picnic area: Large picnic area, covered pavilion with indoor seating as well.”

Huge shoutout to Elyse (look for the big hat!) — she’s incredibly helpful, welcoming, and makes the space feel like home. If you’re looking for a coworking spot with great energy, great people, and excellent service, La Cultura is it.”
“We attended a wedding here and we're pretty impressed! Sitting right on the Susquehanna river this venue has a nice outside area with plenty of gorgeous backdrops for photo ops. The downstairs has several rooms that can be set up for various purposes. The second floor has a nice sized dining room/dance hall with a large window at one end which gives a good view over the river. It's definitely a nice place to hold an event.”

“We WOULD have given a 1 star review for our stay due to an extremely rude front desk manager, but Ashley was so accommodating and kind. So this 5 star is for her. Whoever her manager was on 1/16/2026 at around 1:30 pm should trade places on the org chart with her. He was awful.”

“Had a reservation here, along with other family members, well the day of check in the general manager went above and beyond. The family we were traveling with booked a different Candlewood suites in the area. Nila went above and beyond to make sure we were all together. If that’s not superior customer service I don’t know what is. Thank so much again Nila !!”

“The staff is very friendly and helpful. The place seemed clean and didnt have unpleasant odor. I was expecting hot tub, but it and the pool were broken. the fire alarms on the 2nd floor went off around 10 pm, everybody went down to lobby and it was a false alarm. Apparently this had been happening for several nights in a row and guests were concerned. Since these are kitchenettes someone could be cooking. Reasonable. The weird part was around 1 AM the light under the microwave went on by itself. Neither my husband nor myself had turned it on. The light went off again by itself while we were sleeping. No reasonable explanation because nothing else was affected...management have a clue?”

“Lovely park with cute historical buildings and view of the trains crossing the bridge. We see the river front once a week. Too bad the rest of Harrisburg has not lived up to its potential. People have money to spend and we rarely go anywhere but here & Koons Park to walk Hannah, our dog. No malls or nice cafes, shops, restaurants in midtown or downtown to justify spending $16 for paid parking.”
