Take this for what it is worth to you: the classrooms have cameras in them. Our child was left to cry/scream for 26 minutes in their crib without any attention from the teacher. I was watching the camera for the entire 26 minutes. It is very likely that they were crying longer that I did not see. Later on the same day, while a teacher was feeding some children solid foods (finger foods- not being fed with utensils- all the teacher had to do was place the cookie/cracker on the highchair), our child sat next to the teacher screaming. In summary, you will be paying a PREMIUM price for basic services.

We pulled our son from here middle of the day today after watching a staff member lay over top of a child to “console” him during nap time. Then proceeds to aggressively shove his head down and shush him, again to “console” him. Laurien claims that is common practice. Regardless of “cameras making things seem worse”, that’s inexcusable. The entire summer has been very frustrating. Scarring from diaper rashes. Picking up a snot crusted child EVERY SINGLE DAY. Laurien made the comment about losing employees, here’s a tip…pay them more than $14-16 an hour. You’re charging $380 a week per child. Maybe you’ll get competent employees as well. Avoid at all cost. This lady doesn’t deserve to care for children.

This is my son's second year at u-gro. My son is two years and 4 months old, he was one year and 4 months when he started going to u-gro. I will forever recommend u-gro to any parent. I love u-gro I love how all the teachers are with my son. And the director Ms. Laurien and ms.Lisa are the best. I am so thankful I found this place. I feel so much peace and happiness being able to see my son anytime through my phone and know I am just a call away if I have any issues with anything I see.I just want to thank all the teachers that have been with my son. I appreciate what you all do.Thank you Ms. Morgan and Ms. India

My granddaughter was a student there for quite sometime and I was impressed with the U-gro title because my internship had been at the HACC U-gro. Unfortunately a spitting incident that involved my granddaughter and another child was the cause of my granddaughters removal from the school. Her parents requested a sit down with the child's parents to discuss the spitting incident and was flat out told no by Director Smith. She felt that kids were being kids but we felt spitting in other kids faces or spitting period was not general kids play and there should have been more said and done by U-gro's Director and it wasn't. The teachers are wonderful especially Ms. Tina.

Horrible horrible horrible!!! My daughter started a few months ago and I thought everything looked great. Boy was I wrong. They have teachers who are lazy. Some are even posting about getting drunk and partying. Message me for the details but my daughter ended up getting hit by another child and the director Laurien didn’t seem the least bit concerned or empathetic. I asked who left the mark on her forehead and they told me it was “confidential”. We were out and never turned backDon’t trust these people please, don’t make the mistake I did. My 2 yo baby girl said to me one day before driving to drop her off “no daddy! bad” “go” “no stay”PS the food is garbage, I would not feed it to a dog

I was very disappointed with their service. My 3 year old granddaughter started there after the staff stated they work with children like her that may have some delays or difficulties. We were excited for her to start. The day care was equipped with just about everything besides the ability to work with her. The day she started, my daughter received a call around 12:00 pm asking her to pick my granddaughter up because she wouldn’t take a nap and hit the teacher. They then said she could come back the next day to try again. This doesn’t make since to me. It was her first day and I’m sure she was excited and saw all the toys and wanted to play. They could have given her more of a chance. The woman that said they work with children sat there and said nothing when another staff member explained what happened. What kind of place gives up on a 3 year old child a few hours on their first day? So if I could remove this one star I would. Just like she didn’t deserve one day they don’t deserve one star.
