Well, to me if the storeowner is unfriendly via purposeful silence or is sarcastically striving to get a rise from a customer, as this storeowner does with me, then the store is definitely not recommendable. He stares and smiles without saying anything. If you talk to him, it is the same reaction, a mindless stare and a smile indicating a callous disregard for feelings . Thanks but no thanks. That brings into question mental stability, and lack of mental stability can be very dangerous when people are in charge of handling food. In this case the better part of valor is to evade. IMHO

The fact that this is called Shakti Grocery would make one believe its for Indian groceries which it is NOT. It is a very basic convenient store with barely any inventory, seems to serve more as a place for cigarettes and tottery tickets than anything else.
