I have shopped at the save slot in Reading Pa and it is much cheaper I went in the one in Harrisburg and to look at a bag of fresh fries big bag 14.00 dollars a slab of pork ribs 30.00 dollars yes the poor people that live there that you are ripping off don't have any other close places to shop don't worry I will not be going to that store anymore

Good prices and the store is pretty clean. The store manager is nice. I've only been there twice or three times in the last year but when I did it was clean.What I don't like is my sister went to this store today and was taking photos of groceries on the shelves (she's autistic and likes to have a visual for when she goes grocery shopping) and she got confronted by an employee while i was on the phone with her and who told her "what are you doing taking pictures in MY store"Any other employee ignored her. Let my sister do her thing. She was even careful to make sure she didn't get anyone in the photos she took of the signs on the ceiling. But why did the lady have to make a scene? I attached some photos my sister took.

I love this store. They are always stocked and the prices are as reasonable as they can be in this climate of uncertainty across the the country. The employees are always helpful and so nice. It's in a not so great neighborhood but still worth the trip. I have always been welcomed with warm smiles and an old school atmosphere of nostalgia that Always helps me to remember the way things used to be.

ALWAYS spoiled meat wise, meat is terrible I am surprised no health authorities have inspected this place! Last time I went in for chicken thighs picked up the bag & you smell urine and this is in the middle of the aisle! True story then they give you a hotline number in the comments like this hasn’t been an issue for years there !

Employees where great but the tropical trail mix was horrible and I mean horrible...and I don't feel like I saved any money and I got all knock off stuff...not a fan sorry

This is local grocery that has that you can utilize as a grab-n-go place that have items that are cost efficient or to pick a cart to fill up for the week or month. Produce items are fresh but there are some frozen produce items available as well as a selection of meats if you choose but plant-based items are limited. Bought Burger patties from here the other day ( the frozen kind) were not frozen when I opened them less than 5 minutes after buying them.Thales a look at the meat section and tell me if you wanna buy anything from that place.
