Pharmacy never answers the phone.
The only way I can actually get someone on the line is to call the front desk and even they can't get the pharmacy on the line.
This is the only Rite Aid store in the area that I have this problem at. I don't know if corporate needs to work on getting this pharmacy staffed up better or what the issue is, but it's for sure causing lost business and is known to be an issue with locals. When I talk to any of the other stores and mention that I can't get through to this store they laugh and say "good luck." Other reviews clearly shows this is a problem.
Very frustrating when I can't confirm whether or not a medication is in stock.

Wow, I had an old review from 8 years ago that was 4 stars. What happened? Today, you get 1. The same problems exist at all the stores. The pharmacists are not problem solvers. They are excuse makers. Cashiers don't understand stocking aisles is a secondary task. Checking customers out quickly is the priority. And, the same boiler plate response on these reviews is an insult to all of your customers. Do not allow these bad customer expierieces to happen and there will be nothing to apologize for.

Zero stars. This place is horrible. The drive thru has been closed, so it makes sense to them, to have you come into the store and stand in line for 30 or more mins, while having 9 people behind the counter, but they are short staffed. So, it's stressful on you, painful to you, to be standing there because you don't feel well or have other issues. Also, they don't answer the phone and don't have all your prescriptions ready, so you have to keep coming back multiple times to get everything. They are not fast and don't seem to care too much about the customers. How many people do they need to be full staffed, more than 9?

The pharmacy is an absolute nightmare. Trying to contact the pharmacy on the phone is also terrible. I called the pharmacy 10 times while I was standing in line and saw them ignore the call each time. I have never experienced such a poorly wrong store in pharmacy. Ignoring phone calls when people are trying to get life-saving medication. It's criminal.

Mad dysfunctional. The pharmacy just picks and chooses when it’s open. When it is open the line is incredibly long and painful!!!

They are to be a 24/7 pharmacy, but closed at 8pm tonight. When I got there to pick up inhalers for my child, who was sick, I saw the hand-written signs that they were closing early because they were “short-staffed.” We normally don’t use this pharmacy, but the doctor we saw tonight called the prescription in there due to their advertised availability. There were 5 or 6 people “working” at the pharmacy when I arrived at 7:45pm. There was only one nice girl out of the group who helped while the rest - including the pharmacist- stood around and complained about various aspects of the job and upper management. They had one inhaler in stock, but not the other. The nice girl was trying to assist me in finding another inhaler while the pharmacist hurried her so that they could close. I heard her telling the pharmacist that she felt bad and the pharmacist kept telling her that it’s not their fault they’re short-staffed and they get in trouble if they don’t close on time. At one point she said to the girl (in the back and she thought I couldn’t hear her) “Oh my God, tell her to just use Google!” I have never had an experience in healthcare where a Pharmacist preferred closing (and it was still before 8pm) to helping a parent of a sick child find a medication. It takes a cold-hearted person to watch a child coughing uncontrollably and obviously in need of an inhaler and choose to pull down the window and go home to spite upper management. Clearly, there are systematic and personnel issues there that need addressed and I hope they get rectified for those who choose to return to that store- I will not.

It appears that this store is soon closing as well.
I guess Rite Aid in general is closing their doors, one by one?
Unfortunately, because I do enjoy the 24 hr pharmacy.
Half of the shelves are empty and they are always under staffed these days.
It's a shame, but off to CVS I go.
When are we getting a Walgreens in Harrisburg?!

The worst place ever! Steph from the pharmacy is an ignorant lady who needs an attitude check.. Apparently she finds to many excuses to get her job done. She should get fired!

Very unprofessional. My 9 month pregnant wife just got discharged from the hospital and was prescribed medication. I spent 45 minutes trying to call to confirm if they received it. Noone answered so I drove there and was told they didn't get it. Turns out the doctor also tried calling it in but noone answered so they left the prescription via voicemail. 30 mins later i went back through the drive through and explained it was left on their voicemail over an hour ago.
Finally they checked it and I was told it was a partial voicemail and that they needed to speak to her doctor to fill it. By this point there were 4 cars behind us. My wife called the doctor and had them on the line but riteaid told us we would have to come inside now. I explained that she couldnt come in and they shut the window blinds on us. After 10 minutes they reopened the blinds and mocked us by laughing (one of the ladies laughing is named Bailey). Unbelievably unprofessional. Since my wife couldn't go in the doctor ended up calling it in to another location.
The only professional one was the pharmacist. The 3 ladies there have no business being in a medical field let alone customer service.

Some of the worst human beings I’ve ever been unfortunate to have to interact with. Can’t believe rite aid employees these monsters. Switching over to CVS and PRAYING for the bankruptcy of rite aid at this point.
