If I could give this place less I would. My father went there for a follow up and western blot test. He has Lyme's. They tested for everything but. He went back a second time to be tested and they tested his sugar. So he went a third time for the test, gets a call today that his sugar is normal. When he asked again about the Lymes test,"Oh we didn't test for that." I see a medical malpractice suit in their future. Further more if they were questioning his sugar for three days why wouldn't you send someone for a glucose test? Can someone say Medicare fraud and medical malpractice?? Oh they also said they would get back to him when he said again, today he needs a Western blot test. They didn't run that test. His arms look like he was abused or in a fight. I don't think their lab technicians know how to take blood from older people. If something happens to my father because of this office's incompetence, my lawyer will be in touch. I'm also reporting this office to the state. They definitely need investigated. I think tomorrow, I'm going to call and speak to the office manager. No, my father is not diabetic. You called and confirmed that yet again today 5/20/2024. WHAT about the reason he came in, in the first place??? Where is his western blot test?? He came in because he was at an urgent care in upstate PA for a tick bite. NOT HIS sugar!! He was given a two week script for doxycycline and told to follow up with his PCP which he did Monday. Since then he has gotten nothing from you guys but a test to determine he isn't diabetic. He is still having symptoms of Lymes and needs the full 30 day treatment. I'm just in all of how incompetent this practice is. Three times you had him come for blood work and three times you didn't draw blood for tickborn illnesses. I filed a report with state. I will also contact his insurance and our lawyer. My father is suffering because your practice failed to do what he came in for.

I’ve been a patient of this practice for 40 years. I have always been treated well. The doctors and nurses are very caring and supportive.

My husband is a pt. Takes forever to get anything accomplished at this office....No office manager? Takes days to get rx...nobody calls you. Very poorly run office and nobody cares

Went in for blood work in order to refill my meds. A month later meds were not refilled and I got a call that I needed blood work to get it done. What was wrong with the blood work a month ago, got no answer. This practice has all new staff that dont care about the patients. I switched to a new practice, meds are filled and I'm much happier. Ditch this place if you can.

Been going here to see Dr Quirk who is now retired. The lady who checked me in was nice as was the phlebotmist. The aid didn't even say hi let alone ask how I was. But worse, the nurse practitioner, Manisha, treated me like a nuisance and the plague. Did not experience any compassion from her whatsoever. I felt like I annoyed her and left in tears feeling unheard. What happened to the charisma and sincerity? Will be finding a new practice. Terrible experience

On February 15 I had blood work done for two different doctors. But of course they completely screwed it up and only pulled blood for one doctor so now I have to go back on Friday for their screwup.??

My family, now down to just me locally, has seen Dr. Cohick for at least thirty years. My in-laws, husband and daughter all worked with him. I have tremendous respect for him and really appreciate his kindness. While it can be very difficult to get an appointment, they find a way when it is needed. There are some issues: I am not fond of the central call center, but it is much less of a gatekeeper than it used to be and much more of a facilitator. At times, some minor questions or requests have gotten lost in the shuffle but nothing beyond the norm for a busy office. I also really like Dr. Quirk who I have seen on occasion over the years. I don't often see the CRNPs but when I've done so, they've generally been great with one exception that was at least five years ago and involved a single visit. I didn't even mention it to them because it was fairly minor but memorable. The negative reviews here do not reflect the professionalism and caring and friendliness of this office!

I was on the phone talking with my job when I received a call from someone at Blue Mountain Family practice. I placed my job on hold to answer the call. The lady stated she was calling to schedule my Covid test. She also stated she had an appointment for Sunday at 3:20PM. I told her that is fine. I will be there Sunday at 3:20PM. I then explained that I had to go because my job was calling back. I disconnected the call with Blue Mountain Family Practice and continued to tell my job of my upcoming appointment for testing. About 20 minutes later I received another call to get scheduled for Covid testing because the first person that called had not actually scheduled the appointment that we agreed on. Now I have to wait an extra day before I can get tested. That was so unprofessional and unnecessary. Whatever happened to providing quality services.

I have been going here for several years and they are always good. They listen to any issues or problems i have and will do what they can to help. Yes there are a couple staff members that are not the friendliest but they always professional. And the drs and nurses are great.

Hours are incorrectly posted on Google. It said they were open at 6:40am on Tuesday's. I called at 7am on a Tuesday and the automated message said they don't open until 8am. I've been seeing Dr. Quirk or Dr. Cohick at this location since I was a child, and have always had a good experience from front office staff to the Dr's. I'm shocked to read so many bad reviews. 3 stars only because of the misleading hours posted on Google.
