A friend recommended trying a local pharmacy and today after not being able to get a human on the phone at CVS and a terrible experience when I went by there to ask the question I couldn’t get thru on the phone I decided I had finally had it with CVS. Called Harrisburg Hometown Pharmacy and to my surprise a HUMAN answered and a very kind one at that!! They went above and beyond to help me after I explained my situation. All I was trying to do was get my daughter’s antibiotic. They were amazing and took such good care of us! The pharmacist even personally called me when the prescription was ready. You just don't get service like this from the chains. So, I’m all in on Harrisburg Hometown Pharmacy! If you’re frustrated with your pharmacy experience, make the switch! You won’t be disappointed!!”
“Had to run into Giant after a vet appointment with my dog in the car. It was only 68° out, but it still gets warm with the sun and windows shut. I knew exactly what I needed and ran in, but every Giant is laid out differently! So I dashed through the aisles and got what I needed! Still made it out in the 15 minutes I planned!”

“This Weis is very convenient for me but I find their prices are higher compared to other grocery stores in the area. My husband enjoys their selection of beer and alcoholic seltzer. Tip: if you buy seltzer or beer at a grocery store you don't have to pay taxes like you would at a beer store. The selection might not always be the same but you might be able to save a little money.”

“i've been going to this Rite Aid location for a little over a year now and i am continually reminded why i do: the staff is wonderful, the pharmacists are kind and patient, the store is always neat and clean, and if i need to find something, i have always been helped.
but i mainly go for the pharmacy. i've been burned by other pharmacies before, but NOT this one. every time i have questions or concerns, they answer all of them patiently and thoroughly without being patronising or rushed. they really do make you feel as if your concern matters, not just brushing it aside to get to the next customer. and if they cannot immediately fix your issue (meds being out, or short, or a doc's office got something inaccurate on a form), they do everything they can to smooth it out so it CAN be fixed in the shortest amount of time possible.

“This has been an awesome Giant to do my weekly grocery shopping. I literally have no problems with the store or its employees. I do my regular grocery shopping here. I even know several of the employees by name and they ask me where I've been if I don't come at my usual time! :-) It is always well maintained in terms of being clean. The shelves are always stocked (except during Covid time when there were shortages... just like everywhere else!). I find the employees to be helpful.The decor of the signs and ceiling in the produce area has a bit of a darker theme, but I actually like it now. Despite the color of the ceiling and signs being of a bit of dark motif, everything is still extremely well lit in that area.I really have no complaints about the store. Obviously, the people who have given this store a "1 star-rating" are mad about something that happened to them on a specific visit. Aside from those people's gripes, this is a much better-than-average Giant (in terms of being bigger, well-stocked, helpful employees, seems to be managed well). And it is a far better-than-average when compared to other grocery store chains in the area.The organic aisle is quite good also. I do a good bit of shopping there each time.They did raise prices after Covid finished, which I didn't like. I assume this was true at every store in the area and not a Giant-specific thing.They could use a better parking lot exit system when trying to pull a car out of the parking lot onto Devonshire Road. If they can fix that, then they get an Extra Star!!!!!!”

“Before I walked in to the RiteAid (around 12 p.m. definitely before they were about to go to lunch) pharmacy today I was already sick and just feeling miserable overall. I was just hoping to get my Rx filled to go home and start my treatment. The young man (I aplogize)I wish I would of paid attention to his name tag because he was super kind and showed some really great cust. serv. skills. He told me the wait was about 2 hours and ask him kindly if I could sit and wait for my prescription because I wasn't feeling good . My prescription was done and no longer than a half an hour which made all the difference in the world especially when you are sick with the flu. The staff really made all the difference not only in my care but the way my day kind of turned out. Also, thank you front store clerk for assisting me and getting my bonus rewards back because my phone number did not match.”
