They've even helped me corral a kitty back into the cage when she escaped outside while I packed her brother in the car. Derry Animal Hospital
3761 Derry St, HarrisburgFirst visit with our dog Ted today at Derry Animal Hospital, after moving here from NC. Their practice is different from other vets, texting them from the parking lot when you arrive and not going into the exam room with your pet. After his exam Ted was returned to us and Dr Crescenzi came out to speak with us. She had given him a thorough examination and also several chiropractic adjustments. We appreciated the time she spent with us and the information she provided to keep Teddy healthy. Dr Crescenzi was a delight and the staff friendly and professional.

835 Sir Thomas Ct, HarrisburgI had my dog here a few months ago after he swallowed a foreign object. In the moment they were very kind and got to the problem quickly. However 2 days after he was to come home I noticed a sore where the cone had been on him which cost us even more to get taken care of. In addition, we were informed all of the foreign object had been gone; however a month later he vomited more up. All in all I think the communication with the owner could be improved to provide a better experience.
My dog also gets very anxious with new people and situations. I think some of the staff could be better educated in how to handle these dogs to improve the experience.

Excellent service, very friendly, checked to see if we needed anything, told us about some of the food, She was so pleasant to everyone one. She had several tables. Everyone seemed to just love her.
We ordered the ham steak. The ham steak was as big as our plate. It was very juicy and tasty. It came with two sides and a choice of soup or salad. The price was very reasonable.
The cook came out to see if it was ok. It was way more than ok. He was very pleasant.
The diner was very clean, open and welcoming. The food was very good. The service and staff were wonderful.
We will definitely go back.
Parking: No problem with parking. All parking is near the door or a short walk.

Everyone was very accommodating and cheerful, even when some of our party made annoying requests.
There was no music, so it was a peaceful atmosphere with the typical cafe ambience of patrons chatting and silverware tintinnabulating.
You order at the counter and sit, so the servers let you eat and don’t interrupt your meal. And you pay ahead of time, so you eat and leave at your leisure.
One of the best restaurants we’ve been to.
Dietary restrictions: They substituted oat milk for regular even after my wife had received her drink.
