If I could give 0 stars I would! My husband and I booked a room that looked nothing like the pictures… I guess pictures can be deceiving! It looked like everything was held together with silicone or caulking. The shower could use a deep cleaning, the bed was hard as a rock and at 5 am on our last day of our stay the fire alarm went off, the fire company came and went with no explanation. It was nice to get away but I don’t believe my husband and I would stay here ever again. The shower was not tile like pictured it was several different materials, you can’t use both shower heads at the same time without one getting ice cold and the other getting extremely hot. The front desk is not open from 11 pm - 8 am however we tried to go to the front desk at 8am on Saturday morning and the doors were locked. Again on Sunday for check out the door was locked with a box that said drop your key so even if you wanted to talk to someone about the room or any issues you had, GOOD LUCK! Good thing we brought extra towels, they give you 2 hand towels, 2 body towels and 2 wash rags for your stay so if you are staying for more than 1 night bring your own wash clothes and towels. It was freezing in the room, and you have a super thin blanket (if that is what you want to call it, it was more like a sheet) to cover up with.

Such a nice little place to have a "quick getaway" ! Very relaxing and the management is very informative and attentive. Our room was spotless and all the commodities that were included worked flawlessly. I really enjoyed feeling like I was more than 10 minutes from home for a night! We will be back soon to try out some other rooms!

Avoid this place at all cost… there website is very deceiving… i was expecting the room on the site i was viewing… boy was i wrong.. as soon as we pulled up i just knew.. the outside of this place should tell you what the inside would be like.. i took pics but nowhere to post them.. the walls are all patched up. Showers are held together with caulking.. the tile around the tubs are cut way to short so they are filled with caulking.. and on our last day there the fire alarm went off at 516am.. all the fire trucks came and left… no explanation or anything so needless to say been up since then but thats ok cause we couldnt wait to leave… never again…. Stay at one of the hotels near this place… they look much nicer

It's like a run down motel room with a bunch of mirrors and a tub bowl for a "Jacuzzi". First room heater wasn't working.. spacious but not the romantic experience they're trying to pitch, it's a very overpriced cheap romantic experience. Not worth more than 70 dollars at most including tax.. oh the views they're trying to sell you, nothing special there.( You won't find my name because I don't give info like that out to public on the Internet). Regardless, my partner and I made it a great time. I expected way better from your advertisement. I just have higher standards.

I stayed at The Inn of the Dove and and it was excellent. The staff ( Hani & G. P.) are very fantastic. They are polite and cordial. The rooms are excellent and the facilities are very adaptable. I strongly recommend anyone to give this hotel an opportunity, especially if you are a travelers or even if you live nearby in the area if you wanna place to relax, be quiet have a good easy romantic time or just a time for peace and quiet. This is the place to go.Dr. L. C .U. S. Military , Washington, DC

UPDATED REVIEW: This is my second stay and I'm truthfully doubtful I'll return. I don't feel like it was worth the anticipation I had because my last stay was incredible. Unfortunately I was very unsatisfied and unfulfilled after my second visit here because the main reason we came was to enjoy the hot tub and large showers. The last room had a very clean and enjoyable tub.Maybe save your money if you're expecting a clean room every single time you book here. I'm questioning if the cleaning people are being paid a starvation wage now and what morals this business holds honestly because it was so dirty. I didn't need everything to be perfect to enjoy myself but I really feel as though a grimy tub and shower should be considered unacceptable to any business that chooses to maintain hot tubs when it's common knowledge what happens in these tubs and showers. This used to be an hourly hotel if that helps narrow it down for anyone reading reviews about the tubs, showers and general vibe specifically.I'm not sure who was on shift when the room was "cleaned" but whoever did it was either a new worker, unmotivated or was having a terrible day. All three of which I've been before and understand the struggles of. However the cleanliness of the places I bathe and shower are too important to me to not take seriously.Shower had maybe spray tan or some kind of orangish brown grime in it and there was something pink in the drain. Not sure what it was. The jets were probably half as powerful as the ones in the last tub. I could've enjoyed my stay regardless and dealt with the weak jets if that was my main issue. I would've rated higher if the room we had was actually clean.Brown and yellow scum or bubbles started coming out of the PVC jets. I'm not sure what it was I just know it was gross. The last room had fully metal jets in the tub. I was so embarrassed that I was in a filthy tub like that in the first place to call the front desk and say anything. Personally I feel like a grimy room can be easily prevented by adequately paying the staff and making sure they're all happy to be working here because people are human before they are workers.OLD REVIEW WAS 4 STARS: Had a really wonderful stay here. Jacuzzi was very clean. The stainless steel jets were very powerful in the hot tub. The decor was a bit dated but it was to be expected and it certainly didn't ruin our stay. The hot water didn't really work too well on one of the showerheads and my room key stopped working at 10:30 as I was finishing packing up but someone thankfully helped us get back inside to finish getting our things. The price was very reasonable for the stay we had.Safety: Not always clean. That can be a health hazard especially when I don't know what kind of scum or grime I'm cleaning up myself.Walkability: If you are ok with mostly just staying in the hotel there are a few fast food options there's multiple places nearby to eat if it's a viable option for you.Food & drinks: Plenty of food and beverage options within a 10-20 minute drive of the inn.

The room was had everything we needed (including wine glasses) and was exceptionally clean. We loved the Jacuzzi and the bed/ pillows were surprisingly comfortable. We received a bottle of sparkling wine, a durolog (for the fireplace) and dove chocolate as welcome gifts. A thoughtful touch as it was a rare night away from our children.Nearby activities: An easy drive to events at the Hershey theater

From the moment I arrived at the Inn of the Dove, I knew I was in for a special treat. Nestled in a picturesque location, this charming inn offers a perfect blend of comfort, luxury, and serenity, making it an ideal retreat for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life. The accommodations were beyond my expectations, with each room thoughtfully designed to provide a cozy, intimate atmosphere. The attention to detail in the decor and the inclusion of modern amenities ensured a comfortable stay, without losing the inn's rustic charm. The fireplace added a romantic touch that made evenings extra special. What stood out the most, however, was the exemplary service provided by the staff. Every member of the team went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. Their recommendations for local dining and attractions were spot-on, helping us explore the best the area has to offer. The Inn of the Dove also boasts beautiful grounds that invite leisurely walks or simply a peaceful moment to unwind by the pond. The breakfast was a delight each morning, featuring a variety of fresh, delicious options that were the perfect start to our day.The Inn of the Dove is a true gem. Whether you're seeking a romantic getaway, a peaceful solo retreat, or a place to reconnect with nature, this inn is sure to exceed your expectations. I left feeling rejuvenated and look forward to returning in the future.
