Good location, had to ask for sheets for pull out, only 2 towels in the room, stain on 1 blanket, woke up with a rash on my face 2 nights in a row, pillows smelt funny ,pool did not open at 10 as the sign said. Was definitely NOT worth the money that was spent over the past holiday weekend.

The worst experience in my life. It was a flood in the bathroom ( see pictures and video) my kids slipped and fell down 3 times! Room was close to laundry and electricity room and every minute someone slammed doors so we could not sleep! I told to front desk about those issues but they don’t care. Lack of professionalism! Service rude and arrogant ( especially 300lb lady on front desk) They don’t even have enough towels!!?? yes, towels!??♂️Pros- great location.

This was the worst stay. I have never stayed at a hotel that required me to be my own housekeeper and retrieve my own towels. We had two rooms with double beds in each room. There were 3 people in each room. Although the room sleeps 4, there were only 2 towels in each room. The entire stay we did not receive fresh towels and had to go to the front desk to get towels. They never dumped our trash or cleaned our room for the entire 3 night stay. The keys randomly stopped working. We brought these concerns up to the manager the first night and nothing was changed. There were times when we were given towels for the pool. The sheets and towels were dirty, although said to be cleaned. (Photo attached) There is only one elevator and some buttons inside do not seem to work. The elevator could probably use some servicing as well. There was no iron in our room or do not disturb sign. Housekeepers are obnoxious and loud at 9a in the morning and lack the understanding of customer service. Instead of yelling down the halls to talk to each other, they should be putting that energy into cleaning everyone’s room. The breakfast was lackluster, to say the least.Prior to leaving the hotel, we spoke with the manager, Jamie, about these concerns who stated that due to Covid they suspended the housekeeping services which was a lie based on the pamphlet we received when checking in (neon green/yellow). Clearly, she was not aware that a letter was sent out the night before (the 3rd night we were there) that they were understaffed and unable to properly clean up the rooms (white letter). We were instructed to put our dirty towels outside of the room and go to the front for clean towels. Imagine a hallway with a bunch of dirty towels outside until housekeeping came the next morning. Disgusting! - Therefore, Jamie lied to the customers which is not what a manager should do. Instead of taking ownership for her poor management and leadership, she resorted to lying to save face.If you want to be your own housekeeper, have stained towels and sheets, not get your room serviced, & hopefully get towels - this is the hotel for you. To give it one star is giving this hotel too much credit. Stay at your own risk.

Pros: location, clean room, good room toiletries, and easy check in and out.Cons: room bed makes noise with each turn, no hair dryer, and no enough towels. One elevator in the hotel. For breakfast, the dining room smells bad, especially the couch. Few options for breakfast.Overall outdated hotel. And doesn’t worth the money.

We were part of a larger group in a block of rooms. Only 2 towels in our room upon check-in, though 4 people stayed on reservation. The front desk has to give us pool towels when we asked for more. When we returned to our room for our second night, we had only one towel and washcloth. Several others were at the desk asking for towels at the same time. Room keys for our room and others in our group stopped working at various times throughout our stay. AC was difficult to figure out. Light switch near floor by unit, thermostat on opposite wall. Only one elevator. Definitely understaffed. Positives were that the lady at the desk upon check-in was pleasant and doing her best to be helpful despite being at the end of a double shift. Breakfast was good, but they did have trouble keeping up with the demand.

Booked thru Delta. Check-in was a breeze. The rooms were not ready because we got here at noon. However they were so nice to hold our bags while we hopped over to bucknell.

Do not book here! Worst service I have encountered with a hotel. Their website prompts you to book with a third-party site for nonrefundable reservations. Every time I called into speak with a manager they were "in a meeting" "unavailable" and no one was able to work with me and placed blame on the third party site. COMPLETE SCAM!

Never in my life have I been to a hotel with staff so rude. The dark skin woman that serves breakfast I’m not sure her name should be fired immediately for the way she Treat customers. I walk into the dining area she tells me “ Oh no breakfast ain’t close to ready yet. You need to go back out there.” Right now it’s 615 breakfast starts at 6. I was only able to get a cold bagel Because she’s not competent enough to perform her job and have breakfast ready at the time they say it. I’m here from out of state, working, and now I have to leave to work hungry. On top of that, there’s no staff, You cannot get any clean towels you cannot get your room cleaned. You have to bring your dirty towels to the front desk to get new ones. Honestly, all that stuff I can deal with, but the rude staff and the lady that cooks the breakfast, Absolutely not. They need to let that woman go or they’re going to lose a lot of business

I called several times the next day about a charger i left in my room after checking out.after 5 hours i called again.housekeeping was only there 2 more hours.I asked to speak with a manager and the guy did not get the manager, said he could help.the hotel staff at the front desk was rude and seemed unconcerned.after 6 hours said it wasn't found (that's fine) then proceeded to tell me 3 times that they aren't responsible for lost or stolen property (again fine). did they even check with housekeeping, I'm wondering.

The Good: The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, the location was close to Hershey, and many restaurants. All the employees gave us a friendly greeting, even if we were walking past them. These are all good reasons to stay at a Holiday Inn Express. The not so good, although the rooms and bedding were clean and comfortable, the couch in the lobby had unknown stains. The Main reason we stay at Holiday Inn Express, is because they have one of the best breakfasts in the business, but not this one, No Bacon, No Sausage, No Meat at all. No Hash Browns or Home Fries. No Pancakes, although they had a pancake maker, that was out of order. They did have hard Fried Egg with pepper, Gravy but ran out of Biscuits, (not our favorite anyhow), Cinnamon Rolls, bread, English muffins, Cereal, some Fruit, and OJ. Nice Hotel, but if you want a good breakfast, go somewhere else.
