I attend the AICUP presidents event at this venue annually for many years and we have had excellent experiences each and every time. The hotel has easy parking, accommodating staff, beautiful ambience, and clean rooms and conference areas. The food is excellent- as we have had catered breakfast lunch and dinner each year. This year I especially loved our wait staff for our university presidents' dinner last night. They were so friendly and personable. They really made the entire dining experience wonderful.

Hi Vanessa boyer here. I actually did not stay at the Harrisburg Hilton but spent 4 days at convention last week here. So I did breakfast,lunches and night activities. And visited friends rooms staying there. While I was there from the valets ,front desk , servers and staff was very friendly and offered great service. Last Friday morning my friends had a medical emergency in there room. I ran downstairs to front desk. Told them I need help. They called 911 and had a medical person immediately follow me to the room. The ambulance arrived in just a few minutes. And brought my friend to emergency room . My friend could not come back to hotel from this serious condition. I went to the front desk and everyone including all staff helped me go to room assist in moving items from room getting the car right out front right away and offered me in support in any of our needs for this situation. Everyday would ask if we needed anything. Just amazing. Thankyou so much to all the staff included in this very scary incident. Thanks for being there on my becon call . you made things happen so smoothly which helped me and my friend a lot with our situation. By the way I stayed at the crown plaza while I was at convention. The quality at crown plaza next door cannot compare to Hiltons quality of food service and environment. Definitely staying at Hilton next time I'm in Harrisburg. Please show this post to the staff included in this situation. They deserve to know I am very grateful. Have the best day and always remember to smile.VanessaRooms: Rooms were nice.

I have severe, severe Asthma to dogs and cats…. My significant other has a room booked here for work.The first nice girl I spoke with said that only certain rooms are animal friendly. She transferred me to the front desk to check if the room ever had animals in it. But the nice man at front desk said that all rooms are animal friendly. Which answer is correct at Harrisburg Hilton? It’s nice emotional support animals help people. But it shouldn’t be at an asthmatic’s expense…. I have almost died from being around dogs or cats in the past. Manager or Owner or President of Company needs to address this issue.

Last time I stayed at the Harrisburg Hilton, I found someone else's socks in our bed.Today, the Hilton SUV is wallin' out in my apartment complex...speeding... and not doing Hilton things.Anyway, have a nice day and stuff.

Reasonable hotel, had a nice breakfast in the restaurant. Rooms are a bit dated, but it's the best hotel near the capitol.

Rooms: I would've given it 5 stars if not for the dirty washcloths left in the bathroom and the trash left at the door. Not vacuumed even after I told someone about it.

Stayed here for 6 nights and could not fault the stay - the reception staff went above & beyond everyday for us, rooms were clean and serviced every day :)

Great hotel, dated but clean. Really friendly staff. But the choice to have centrally managed HVAC is a killer, it was 72 in the room at check in (in winter) and has continued to rise to 75 throughout the day. Front desk told me "only heating is available in the winter, turn off the unit and they'd send up a fan". A fan only goes so far, and it's only getting warmer in here. If you don't like super warm rooms, don't stay here during the winter. I certainly won't again.
