Today was my first experience with this pharmacy and I must say, it was amazing!! I’ve always used CVS and continue to be frustrated. A friend recommended trying a local pharmacy and today after not being able to get a human on the phone at CVS and a terrible experience when I went by there to ask the question I couldn’t get thru on the phone I decided I had finally had it with CVS. Called Harrisburg Hometown Pharmacy and to my surprise a HUMAN answered and a very kind one at that!! They went above and beyond to help me after I explained my situation. All I was trying to do was get my daughter’s antibiotic. They were amazing and took such good care of us! The pharmacist even personally called me when the prescription was ready. You just don't get service like this from the chains. So, I’m all in on Harrisburg Hometown Pharmacy! If you’re frustrated with your pharmacy experience, make the switch! You won’t be disappointed!!

My mother had been going here for years the staff was great. But this staff that is working there now including the pharmacy tech the managers. They are RUDE every time I call there customer service sucks if you don't like your job please get a new one where you don't have to deal with people

Horrible experience they lie to you. I asked to have a prescription transferred from another pharmacy and after days of waiting I called again and they told me they no longer except transfers from the pharmacy that I was using. So I called my pharmacy to see why they did not transfer it to find out they had already transferred it. So the lady just lied to me then when I called her on it she said they would have to wait to run it through the insurance and would have to order it so it wouldn't be there until the next day maybe so they just keep lying

I've been using the pharmacy for many years and also the delivery service I must say that I'm quite pleased with the service! The care of helping me with any concerns are always answers! I'm so happy that Harrisburg has such a amazing place with caring people there to serve not only myself but the entire public!

I have only been at this pharmacy for a short time. The people that work here are some of the nicest pharmacy workers tht I've ever dealt with. It's nice having free delivery, a super kind, courteous, and friendly, delivery person. The ladies tht take the calls or answer the phone are never rude, rush you, or make you feel tht your call to them is keeping them from their duties. The pharmacist alone in my my opinion is Top Notch ? and the fact tht they answer every single phone call coming in just adds more stars to the ⭐⭐⭐⭐ tht were already there.

I'm compelled to write this review because I truly can't say enough good things about this local pharmacy. Harrisburg Pharmacy is quick to fill prescriptions, responsive, they deliver(!!) and also have a really nice community-oriented vibe. I moved my prescriptions over after having horrible experiences with Riteaid, and I'm so glad I did. Small, locally-owned and operated, all the way!
