Store is great and staff is awesome, but it’s very frustrating coming in for my lunch and all the tables are taken up by employees on their lunch. Last week there was 3 dirty tables, 2 tables being used by guests and 4 tables being used by employees majority looking like managers. Get them a comfortable break room!

I use to love shopping at Gaint but lately they have been making shopping a frustrating experience. I should have to download an app to get saving on top of having a bonus card. When I went to the customer service desk they said I have to use the app to get the savings. When you shop you should have to jump through hoops to save the most money. Especially for those on a budget who do the calculations on a calculator and have to watch every penny they spend.

This store has great employees, my problem comes from marketing from corporate. When you have big numbers over a product, I expect to pay that price. Getting charged 3x as much because I didn't use the mobile app feels like I'm getting cheated. A real hassle to need to read fine print while shopping.

WARNING This store refused to give the advertized sale price and then lied about their own ad. The Cokes were almost $9 more! Then they said this saved More!.... Because the price was raised.

I was waiting to see if my money would be refunded but since it wasn’t, here is my review. This location is okay if you pick the groceries out yourself, however if you use the app and allow them to shop for you. Prepare for spoiled meats and produce. I complained via corporate including photos and I was never refunded the money for the spoiled items. Yes I could have gone into the store and had them refunded, however doesn't that defeat the purpose of curbside?
I’m not knocking the store in general, however the gross spoiled food was inside there and the shopper picked those items out and gave them to me for my family.
So it’s a no go for me. I will see if Google will allow me to show the photos. I’d just pick another location, even though the Union Deposit location has some pretty rude cashiers. So maybe I will just go back to “B”aldies.

I love getting the rewards.
Giant needs to do better at hiring/promoting staff as managers and up that are of color.
The only jobs I see people of color doing are cashiers and working at the customer service desk
