This is the worst location I had ever gone too. Cashier at checkout was good however, management is very rude and unprofessional. Management at the time of my experience's name is Crystal. She chose to yell across the room to humiliate her customer rather than get behind the other available cashier machine to help. Wrote to corporate to complain as well. I have not heard back from anyone thus far. It has been approximately a month since incident and report.

Harrisburg 13th St store. Yesterday there were 2 registers with no cashier's. I rang the bell and after 4 minutes and 5 customers behind me, the manager gets an employee and puts her on the register no one was at. Mind you, there were no signs saying the registers were closed. He then says, "y'all going to have to come around to the other register after i had my items already on table to be ring out. I left and bought NOTHING. TODAY I GO BACK AFTER 1PM TO FIND ALL EMPLOYEES OUTSIDE AND DOOR LOCKED. I ASKED WHY IS THE STORE CLOSES...THWY SAID AND I QUOTE "THE MANAGER IS ON BREAK AND HE LOCKS THE DOOR AND MAKES YS COME OUTSIDE". WHO DOES THIS? I WILL NOT PATRONIZE THEM AGAIN.

Worst customer service I've ever received. When you're in line waiting to pay, you as quick as you can ring up the current person so you can get to the next person, not talk to your customer/ friend about personal drama. And when it was my turn next, finally, they were discussing about exchanging phone numbers to keep in touch. At least she was ringing me up at the same time rather than making me wait some more for her personal business. Was not acknowledged at all from the moment I was at the register. No apology, greeting, small talk, inquiring about my experience, (which obviously was not good), anything. She might've told me the total, and at least told me to have a nice day. I didn't have personal beef with the cashier, but definitely worst customer service experience I've had anywhere that requires customer service.

Long line, not enough tellers, cashier couldn't get the register to function, no management assistance, I put my items down and walked out the store... Horrible experience!!! Dollar General from here on out!!!

The employees are nice, but completely worthless. Shelves are never stocked. They have 0 out of 10 star frozen burgers, but don't have steak'ums. They don't have anything healthy in the grocery isles other than water, milk, and bread. There is always, ALWAYS, a long line and check out is miserable! Grab a grocery cart so you don't have to hold your items for 20 minutes waiting for the cashier to do their job. At least the stoner dummies behind the register are nice people.
