Worst pharmacy I’ve ever dealt with. The pharmacist has such a nasty attitude and is very unprofessional. After 5 years they’ve lost my business. Good luck keeping the doors open with this level of trash working there.

Store closes at 8pm, arrived at 7:15pm to pick up an order placed online only to find the doors locked. Two employees inside, neither one bothered to acknowledge someone at the door, explain why they were closed early or basically care at all about a customer at the door. I took my prescriptions to another pharmacy and all other business will be taken elsewhere starting tomorrow.

App Coupons never work at this location and the manager refuses to honor them. Asked me to prove that it is the same product as the coupon when the picture was right there. How embarrassing. I come here to get certain things just because of the coupon. I can't remember the last time I felt so judged and over a $5 coupon

It appears that these new set of employees at the Swarata Square location are not happy at their jobs. They are not people friendly. I recommend that they seek jobs that will allow them to work virtual.

Staff as very poor people skills here! I went in an hour before they closed to print 20 pictures and the lady comes up to me and says: I don't know how many pictures you are printing but we close in like 45 mins! :/ Ohh ok, I know you have to go back in the Dark Room there & process these and all, but I promise I'll be as fast as I can ma'am!! :/ Um, sit down, you don't have to do a darn thing except check me out! I won't be coming here again! So rude!!!

Pharmacists in this location do not know how to read insurance card information nor type letters or numbers into their system correctly. Makes me wonder if CVS pharmacists in this location ever got through grade school not knowing how to read numbers or letters in the alphabet. I visited this pharmacy multiple times and handed them both my primary (commercial) and secondary (Medicaid) insurance cards to pick up my prescription inhalers, which were supposed to be filled September of last year, 5 months ago, but never got filled. Good thing I had a couple expired ones to use at the least. But despite the multiple visits and handing them both my insurance cards, they couldn’t get the information entered correctly and accurately into their system, so I’m out of Advair and Albuterol for months. I kept being told by the fat, blonde curly-haired female that I have to “pay $98” while I repeatedly stated I’ve never had to pay for the same prescriptions through Medicaid in the last 2 years I’ve been getting them from their pharmacy. I had to wait a few more days on my next day off to phone an insurance agent/concierge to contact the pharmacy to help me, which even took 2 phone calls to speak to the pharmacist “Princess” as she rudely kept raising her voice saying that my “insurance cards were wrong and do not match.” She even said that “the first insurance agent she spoke to didn’t know what she was talking about.” Was she implying that UPMC issued “WRONG insurance IDs and had inept staff?!?” HAHA, unbelievable! I had to reach out to my insurance to contact, assist and tell them how to perform their job, TWICE!! I needed those prescriptions for my asthma and shortness of breath. These pharmacists have zero care if their customers end up being stricken with their debilitating or life-threatening medical conditions due to their own incompetence and unreliability. CVS should mandate Weekly Skill Checks and Customer Relations/Service Training and Continued Education to include Reading, Writing and Data-Entry and maybe even Eye Examinations to ensure their employees are absolutely fit for the job. Handling prescriptions are no joke, lives depend on them!

DO NOT GET A PRESCRIPTION FILLED HERE. If I could give them zero stars, I 100% would. I had to come here because no other CVS in the area had the antibiotic my daughter needed. Hours after the prescription was sent to them it still was not ready. After waiting in line for over 15 minutes I was told it was not ready and to come back in an hour. The woman working was a different one and she said they closed 2 minutes before and she refused to help. It was clear the pharmacist who was helping everyone earlier and told me as well as numerous other people in line with me to come back in an hour has no idea what she is doing. Trust me. Save yourself the headache, frustration and gas and go elsewhere.

I've seen a few reviews complaining that they never answer the phone here. I had the same issue, I was on the hold line multiple times with no response. My medication was almost out, so I went in person. Turns out there was only one tech behind the counter. She was dealing with a line of 5+ people with the phone going off nonstop. It was a 30 minute or so wait before I left with my meds. I think this location is just understaffed and doing the best they can. The employees are always very nice and helpful. If you visit the store, and have patience, they should be able to help you with your refill.

Have waited for an hour on three occasions to be connected to pharmacy on a new prescription. Just music and repeat recordings. Medication was needed days ago. Unreliable!

A careless pharmacy. My doctor prescribed 4 refills for my pills. I noticed this error after 5 days. I have to spend 20 minutes to make my call through to reach a human being. The person denied their mistake, and promissed to call my doctor for a new prescription and will call me back. But she never call me back.I called the pharmacy 3 times today, each time the phone just rang 15 minutes, nobody answer the phone.

There are signs up all over the store asking everyone to wear a mask, regardless of vaccine status... while employees stand right next to the signs unmasked. I saw that while picking up a prescription that took 5 days to fill, which I had to beg for after waiting on hold for an hour to talk to someone. I'll be switching pharmacies.

Management at this location needs to learn how to approach customers; I don't care what type of day you're having, if you're in a customer service position you learn how to put on a face and approach situations professionally.

Will not fill your prescriptions or answer your calls! Called continuously 3 day in a row just to be put on hold all times for 40+ Minutes. It took the manager to get involved to resolve the situation. If you are someone who has daily medication i don’t recommend using this place!
