“I am so glad I found out about Bunny People! I adopted a bunny from them about 2.5 years ago. Her name is Bambi. I decided to keep that name because she really is a "little dear". She is the light of my life, my sweet girl and I am so blessed to have her!”
“Between me and my mother-in-law we donated canned cat food. And meat only baby food for the kittens. This is a no-kill shelter which I like. My son said he wants to come back when we need a new animal and adopt.”
“Great place to socialize and enjoy trivia. Food and beverages are good and reasonably priced. Very supportive of veterans and their families. Always plenty of parking.”

“I had a wonderful experience taking the Penn State Extension gardening class recently. The Salvation Army of HBG was a wonderful host for this class. The staff was courteous & the environment was clean & on point. Will consider taking other classes they offer at this site.”
“Great place! The dressing rooms were clean, there was a huge selection, and the prices were good. The day we visited also had a large discount (75% off a certain color tag) and it seems this happens often. I was able to get a jacket, a sweater for my boyfriend, and four shirts for only $20. On the way out I spotted this awesome picnic basket and absolutely had to pick it up. $25 and it included all of its pieces! We took it out two days later for Memorial Day.”
“Place I went to all year but fall and winter after school for basketball! Today they have more programs I found out music programs and girls also. A good place to volunteer die a musician as well as an athlete.”
“I will almost always stop here before home depot. Good prices on many items for the DIY.
Best part is proceeds go to helping improve local Harrisburg Community.”
“I've always loved the Camp Curtain YMCA.Since I was a kid. It was here that I first learned how to swim after almost drowning in the Hershey Park Swimming Pool. From their I saved myself from a kayak flipping over in the Susquehanna River during a Camping trip with Camp Hebron. Years later at Ocean City Maryland. The tide took me a mile away from shore. Instead of panicking. I floated on my back until the tide. Pushed me back in. A couple of times I helped rescue others. Then I joined the Navy. And swam where it counted. Along the way I worked out at different YMCA's. But theirs no place like home in my own neighborhood, and I'm glad to be back. A part of my life. I've always enjoyed. Working out at the Camp Curtain YMCA . Khaldun Rasheed”
“Great facility. Lots of equipment and activities. One thing I don’t like is that it seems they’ve begun locking the restrooms near the gym and exercise-equipment area before closing time, making it necessary to use the swimming-pool locker-room necessary when necessary. Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff.. clean, too.”

“I like the amenities available. Basketball, racquetball, pool, hot tub, steam rooms, 3 different weight rooms, parking for members (OSP is what I think they call this level of membership) also the proximity to the riverfront. Nice to bike the area and return to the hot tub or pool. The layout is challenging to navigate but you get used to it (take the tour). A cafe of sorts would set this place apart from other gyms. But it is downtown walking distance to restaurants.”
“Great Y in the area. We frequent the Camp hill location but tried the Harrisburg one for swimming. It was a great experience. The building is a maze and wonderfully maintained. The pool itself was nice and warm the changing room was neat and clean. Chlorine levels were nice and didn't hurt the eyes. Great staff and patrons alike. If you are an OSP member your parking is free otherwise 1$. Will be back.”

“My wife and I ate dinner in the non smoking restaurant. Food was very good. Wife was a little disappointed with the crab cake. She asked if they were broiled or fried, she was told they were broiled. When she received her meal the crab cake was fried.”
