For the most part we really enjoy going here. The pool is pretty decent, our concern is the condition of the equipment, mostly in the senior area. Seats are torn, not updated, leather broken where you place your arms. Understand this gym is old but needs an update.

I got the membership just because there was a family swimming . But since I took the membership they are saying either there is no life guard or pool has been closed for cleaning etc. I paid for a month for no reason. And now they processed my membership charge and next months charge and I don’t know why my bank declined ( I guess they put the wrong account or routing number). And now they want to charge 20 dollars for returned payment if not paid will send to collections within a week. That’s how they are treating me…. Pathetic… I’m very very unhappy customer… would give 0 star as per my experience.

Great service very polite staff, pool was nice as well as the hot tube. The excercise equipment needs some service done to them and the place could be a tad cleaner. Other equipment in bathrooms also need repair to them. But overall a good place if your not too picky and just want to swim and have a good workout.Years later still awesome and my go to gym :)

It opens early and I am able to exercise inn the water with weights. It is safe, everyone is friendly.

Has a pool.. it's a gym for older people..alot of cardio classes to choose from new owner very nasty and dirty in the gym no one cleans up bandaid and boogers all over the place yes boogers

Central Penn is a "one of a kind" place in my opinion. There are so many options to pick from! As a retired Senior Citizen, I am I able to take advantage of morning classes and especially love the aquatics classes in the Olympic sized pool. I have made many friendships there over the 8 years that I have been a member, and enjoy going whenever I can. I am always happy when I get there and and very much enjoy the pool and the hot tub! Both are very therapeutic for me! I can do things in the water that I can no longer do on land. They offer a host of non gym type activities as well. That would include things like a monthly book club, Art aciivities, and Take Off Pounds Sensibly (TOPS) meetings as well as craft fairs and so many other things. The monthly lunch out with other seniors in the club is a a great way to meet new people and so enjoyable!

Classes kept me from a life of pain and restrictions. Instructors are fabulous and for sure constantly watch the participants to make sure they are doing the exercise correctly and are happy.I just love welcoming everyone feeling everyone gives you.

The people that works and goes there are very friendly. Like family involvement ! Pool is awesome and the jacuzzi as well .
