Wow try America’s worst.We are so disappointed. Did not have issues last time we were here. The only reason they get 2 stars now is for our previous experience and the woman who did the initial exam because she was pretty cool.I decided I was going to get contacts this time. Wore them for a week, came in to tell them I like them, and was told they’d inform the doctor to get the script finalized. I called about them, and just kept getting told it still had to be finalized. Wth takes so long to check “yes” on a box. Continuing on, about a month later from our appointment date, I was informed the doctor was off on a leave of absence a week or more ago due to ailment. So communication completely out the door, instead of them saying we can have a different doctor finalize it or hell even telling me that she was out would’ve been great to know. They FINALLY, and by “they” I mean a manager because the front desk just seems clueless, told me that the script can be sent to their York location to be finalized… Why was this not said like 2 weeks ago? “Hey, our doctor is on leave, we can send it elsewhere to be finalized.” Why is that sooo difficult?Continuing on:My wife got two pairs of glasses. She had one pair sent out because she really liked the frames. They broke them putting the lenses in, they’re a discontinued frame, the manager found another pair, they broke them too… So we were offered new frames for free. That was nice. But that was about it, the lenses weren’t even done correctly, you could clearly feel the weight difference between her old ones and new ones. Her script didn’t even change, so there’s no reason the lenses should be any different.This’ll be the last time we goto America’s Worst

When I initially scheduled my appointment it was a face to face with Dr. Singh. I had went to them a month ago and my wife and I got 2 pairs of glasses each and we were extremely happy. So I wanted to get contacts as well so i made my appointment for 3/19 at 4pm. Was called and told the appointment would need to be moved to 4:15pm and for it to be a virtual appointment but i would still come to the store. Wasn’t happy about that as im old school and prefer face to face but I thought ok i will do it. They said Dr. Singh had a medical emergency and I totally understand something like that. I prefilled out my paperwork and i arrived at 4:05pm. Got checked in and told them that I was going to do the $139 club thing and that the exam was for contacts. The lady sent me to the waiting room. There was 1 guy besides me in the waiting room. They called him back and I thought ok cool im next. At 4:40 im still the only person in the waiting room waiting. A couple minutes later I got up and informed the desk clerk i will reschedule. She asked if ive been through phase 1 yet and I said what is that? She said have you been called back yet? I said no ive been sitting alone in the waiting room all this time. I didn’t get a im sorry let me get someone to see you right away or nothing like that. Needless to say I was extremely unhappy and upset when I left. I will not set foot in that location again and I may very well never go to america’s best again or recommend them to anyone. I certainly won’t recommend the Harrisburg location

I love the deals they have going on for glasses that's what initially caught my eye. I just had my first appointment and my experience was amazing I loved everything about it. The Manager was very helpful, knowledgeable and kind I truly see why they're the best! Thank you for everything I really appreciate it.

I had an appointment in December. I hadn’t heard anything in 2 weeks. I called & was told, the doctor didn’t even view my prescription that they will make sure she does. I then call 2 weeks later & the same response. They gave me trials a second time because of me waiting. It’s March & I can’t even get an answer or reason my contacts weren’t viewed or ordered. Will not go again & will advise people against going. I am frustrated, never waited this long on contacts.

This is the worst America's Best. They told me my insurance would cover my examination. However, once I completed the whole exam they told me I would have to pay out of pocket. The people that work there are rude. When it come to service that customers pay for you take business seriously. Wouldn't recommend

Second time we have scheduled and have had a cancel call less then an hour before the appointment. Same issue as the time before. If your equipment is forever faulty than take the time to fix it before scheduling. We have had this appointment for weeks and now once again he's got to wait. We will not be back

I took my 7yr old there for his very first eye appointment.They were absolutely amazing with him, talking with him trying to make as comfortable as possible. We met with Nick for his glasses he was amazing and ended the experience strong for my son he was so excited and happy. They did wonderful definitely going back!!!!!

Two hours is an excessive amount of time for an eye exam. Clearly the appointments are being scheduled too closely together. After 30 minutes of waiting & nothing happening except me filling out some nonsensical form I asked a lady about the delay & she seemed offended that I would even question it. Another 15 minutes later & I was finally called back for the exam which didn't start for almost 15 more minutes. Outrageous!

The doctor was on her phone, texting her daughter who had an appointment and then she was eating while doing the eye exam. I felt like the tests didn’t matter and I was in and out within 5 minutes. I have been to other eye doctors and they took much longer and we’re not eating or distracted in any other way. The nice lady who helped me pick out my glasses was very helpful and knowledgeable. But other than that my experience was not great.

I cannot say enough good things about this location and its staff!! Our tech, Jeannie, was absolutely amazing and took her time with us answered all questions and was just all around pleasant!! Nick assisted us with finding the correct frames and guiding us on what we needed. At no point did he try to upsell us on stuff we did not need!! This is our second time here in 2 years and we will be returning as long as we are anywhere near this location!! Thank you Jeannie and Nick for such a great experience, we will be back!!

First timer, Had a 5:15 pm appointment, wasn’t seen until about 6pm. A family that came in after me was seen before me, I’m guessing they were late for their appointment- no big deal I get it life happens. Meanwhile, One of the employees came back to the waiting room and loudly explained there was a problem with my insurance. I was so embarrassed. The woman who did my pretest was lovely & so kind. Went back to meet with the doctor via zoom.. was quick. Finally went to pick out some new glasses around 620/630… one of the employees came over to help me, picked out a pair of glasses, got measured and my prescription didn’t work with the glasses. At this point I was a bit frustrated and upset I had spent over an hour in the store. I knew they were closing at 7 so I took a copy of my prescription and left. Make an appointment earlier if you can!!!

Dr. Singh was insightful and here greeting and energy was so welcoming. She was informative and given me information I wasn’t told by previous eye doctors. She was also friendly and professional. I’ve also noticed how she helped a woman next to me in the waiting room to help walk her back to a room. Also, some of the front staff were sure pleasant and helpful as well. There was one in particular (I’ll have to update this later when I get her name). But she was more than helpful and she was helping everyone at once even when she may have not needed to or wanted to.
