Very unprofessional and barb is very rude and disrespectful. Highly recomend not taking your children to a place where they might get turned away because people call off and they have poor planning and staffing. Now I am forced to call off work and find new place for my kids to go during the day due to their poor planning. Poor planning on your part shouldnt account for an emergency on my part! Wish them the best but this was not right

As a Field Rep for National Survey of Early Childcare and Education, Never seen a nicer place for Childcare.

Great at first, but after a little while the owner was wildly unprofessional and rude when concerns were brought to their attention. Didn't show any concern what-so-ever when concerns were brought up. Teachers don't daipers properly resulting in horrible daipers rashes. Breaks hippa laws as. Over all, very disappointed. I had high hopes for this daycare, but in the end they did not meet expectations at all. This facility is run very poorly and I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Nice facility but the entire staff is unprofessional. The use fowl language in the immediate vicinity of the children is unacceptable and never addressed. Also the owner called my mixed race child "ditsy and blonde" to my face. I don’t recommend if you want more than warm bodies helping your child.

Unprofessional. Barb has broke hippa laws to the max. Tells everyone's business to people that it don't even concern. Very unprofessional!!! Loves and thrives on drama. She needs to worry bout her kids and business instead of everyone else's. Loves to start trouble really wouldn't recommend

The price is par with others in the area, but with many extra benefits that others don't offer. It's on a large "farm" and the kids take daily walks (when weather appropriate) to see the pigs, bunnies, horses, etc. They have multiple playgrounds for kids of different ages, as well as a wooded area for supervised exploring. During the summer, they have a pool (with certified lifeguards) and kids can go splashing in the creek on property (supervised and with water shoes on to prevent slipping). The staff is very friendly and personable. My oldest son is SO smart, and it's mostly due to Barb's. They finger painted with him since he was 3 months old. Something that if I'm honest with myself, I never would have done if I were a stay at home mom. They do so many activities that make learning fun. They have a Talent Show and picnic in the summer with families invited, and a Christmas Show in the winter, also with families (and Santa) invited. This place feels like a second family to me and my boys. My oldest son is always asking the teachers if they want to come to our house on the weekends to play with him.As for the review below, I'm not saying he's lying, but my nephew is mixed race, and the owner has always stood up for him in every aspect of his life. I have younger brothers who used to go to Barb's, and they are African-American. She loves them dearly to this day, and still gives them hugs and asks how they are doing and is genuinely interested in their lives.Ultimately, Barb's is like an extended family to my kids. They're a safe place to go, and I can't think of a better way to spend that kind of money on my kids.
