About a month ago we had a new dish washer delivered. They charged us $200.00 to install it and $50.00 to remove the previous dish washer, however when they arrived, they let us know they were incapable of both removing the old dish washer and installing the new one. The gentleman let us know that the invoice would be revised to remove the costs of installation and removal. However, when I received a statement via email, both costs were still on the invoice. I immediately made various phone calls to the overall customer service, the customer service at the store in our area, and Home Depot's credit card company (Citi Bank). I also made a visit to Home Depot in person. Through all my efforts, I got absolutely nowhere except for an adjustment on my invoice that still left an additional $47.05 on my credit card statement that shouldn't have been there. I made around 10 (possibly more) phone calls in total where I was promised results and phone calls back that led to nowhere. I ended up paying my credit card statement (minus the 47.05) and it still has not been removed or credited to my card, about a month later. I had to purchase a fridge about a week ago and ended up paying $200.00 more at Lowe's just to avoid this potential issue if I went through Home Depot. That's how much I'm avoiding business at Home Depot.

It took 1/2 hour for us to find anyone who could help us find what we were looking for. The store was not busy and I stopped at the customer service desk and there were at least 8 people that were all talking together. They did tell us what isle, but it was not where they said it would be. We found 2 employees and asked both of them where we could find the washers and they were wrong too! I finally saw a young man, Dylan, who was working the self check out area. He looked it up on his phone and pointed to the right isle. He was a very helpful employee unlike any other employee that worked there. Gone are the days when there were employees walking around that would walk you to what you were looking for! We will go to Lowe's next time

i bought carpet from Home Depot and was promised the best padding 1 year later the carpet started getting a roll in it like it needed restretched ! I called the HD flooring department right away Adam the Manager was no help I guess I'll make anybody a manager. he said he would try to help but he has been totally avoiding me! Email after email no help! I had a carpet specialist come out and he advised the the padding is breaking now and Would need replaced . really !!! Not a high traffic area and the carpets a little over a year old !! What ..... and I upgraded the Padding when I purchased the carpet!!! I am totally sick of HD and the people they hire not caring about anything ! Home Depot needs to stop hiring just anybody off the street and get more professional people and better training and more knowledgeable about their jobs! As a consumer I am sick of wasting my money and fed up with the bull crap!! I spend a lot of money at HD but I am done !!! Wake up Home Depot!!!!!

Today I stopped by The Home Depot store in Hanover, PA to purchase deck sealant. A woman I hadn’t seen previously was working the paint department & I’m sorry that I didn’t catch her name. She was amazing! She knew the product well and made very helpful suggestions. She really seemed to care that I had the correct product. She was also assisting another customer who was purchasing the same product. She started mixing my paint & went to check on the other customer in the meantime. She effortlessly assisted both of us without either of us feeling we were “on hold.” Such amazing customer service that you don’t witness often!

Purchased over $4,000 for appliances and after 5 phone calls to be assured of the delivery date our refrigerator was confirmed 5xs but didn't arrive. They gave us a 1-5 delivery and 1/2 day of work was missed only to be told (after a 30 min. hold) that it somehow didn't make it on the truck and everyone had left for the day. Totally unacceptable. And will go to Lowe's next time.

Shopping for a certain item, i stopped an associate by the name of Carley to ask for assistance. She not only answered all my questions, but help to put the item I purchased into my vehicle. Very outstanding employee!!!! YOU ROCK, CARLEY!!!!

Shame that you can't seem to do your jobs correctly. I ordered product that was supposed to be delivered to my home from this store on Tuesday. Called yesterday when it wasn't delivered and had no contact from them, and they promised me today. I needed it tomorrow. It never showed up. Now I'm being told I'm going to be punished further by having to wait another 2 days for the item, and who knows if it'll even show up then. I PAID for that service. And yet I'm being told I either have to wait longer or go get it myself. Nope. Not good The Home Depot

This review is for the Hanover Home Depot Delivery & Install Team. Absolutely pathetic overall service; because of this I won't ever buy appliances from Home Depot again. Issue #1: Washer/Dryer. The two install "professionals" were a joke from start to finish. Deciding to rush instead of doing it the right way, they opted to try and carry both appliances at once with shoulder straps, initially dropping them onto my asphalt driveway. I like this Home Depot because it has a great variety of things I need for home improvement and repair projects, however this location has very hit and miss customers service. Sometimes I get someone who really takes the time to show me where the thing is that I'm looking for, or at least directs me to the correct expert. I've had great people who have make recommendations and assist me in making educated purchases. Other times... well they barely look up and are clearly trying to avoid assisting anyone with anything. -.-
