Reasonably-priced local shop with a huge selection of chew options/bones, including the cheek roll that's been sitting in my Amazon cart.My aggressive-chewer pup is THRILLED. Friendly staff, including the pup-staff. My new go-to shop for my dog.

Lakeside Pet Resort
831 Blooming Grove Rd, HanoverI left my 3 dogs with the staff of Lakeside Kennels for 8 days. The dogs came back happy, healthy, and clean! Not at all like the last place in Hanover where I boarded my dogs. I can't give enough praise to the staff at Lakeside, and Casey is wonderful!! They cared for my dogs as I would have. The staff was very observant of the dogs' behavior and quirks and worked with them to make their stay better. They even brushed them. They followed the dietary schedule to a tee and gave medicine and supplements as I instructed. I am soooo happy I finally found the perfect place to board my dogs!

1035 High St, HanoverWe were new residents to the area and had scheduled an appointment with another clinic but when our cat, Noah, became ill, our chosen clinic refused to see him. (Shame on them!)
AMAZING CARE!!! We literally barged into the busy waiting room at CLEARVIEW ANIMAL HOSPITAL and pleaded with staff to see him. Despite not knowing us, despite not having an appointment, and despite a busy waiting room, the staff remained calm and immediately took Noah to be examined. Over the next 36 hours Drs Hochreiter and LaFaver and their staff provided Noah with prompt, professional, compassionate care until his last breath on August 15. Moreover, their compassion extended to us, giving us time to process his illness and condition, supporting us as we made extremely difficult decisions, and allowing us to spend time saying goodbye to our beloved furr-baby. We will be forever grateful to the Clearview team for their love, care and compassion shown to Noah and us who were "total strangers".

In my personal experience, Stateline Canine had some of the best police K9 instructors that I have ever met in my 25+ years as a police officer. The instructors were very thorough and explained everything in detail in the theory/lecture sessions, and before we performed the exercises. Whenever I had a question pertaining to a certain training scenario , they were very thorough and professional. They also had an open line of communication with me. And believe me, I had a lot of questions that were answered in a timely manner. At no time were they ever ignorant or disrespectful to me or my dog. I would highly recommend the Stateline K9 instructors to police officers that take their dog training serious, and want the best education for themselves and their dog. I am looking forward to my on going monthly maintenance training , and the relationship that I have built with the staff from Stateline Canine. They can run in house,lay on sofas or go out in the large yard and play. I called and needed to come extra early, she was so nice about it. I give her name to everyone. All the dogs running around and whatever time you go ,the place is always clean and spotless.

1649 Broadway, HanoverService was great, very nice, very homey atmosphere. Food was great. Tried the Tamales (Pork & Chicken), LG fry, and Enchiladas (chicken) and everything was a hit. I wish I would have grabbed the sauce for even more flavor. The fresh salsa was also a hit. If I lived in the area this would be a normal stop for me and my family. Made a day at the hospital, on a Saturday, better with a belly full of great food.

100 High St, HanoverGreat place with both outdoor and indoor seating. They have crabs, seafood, and broasted chicken. There are a good assortment of sides. The broasted chicken was awesome, and my wife really liked the crabs. It's a casual place with a nice casual atmosphere. It can be loud. We spent about $60 for the two of us, including the tip. That's comparable to what we spend at Mission or Red Robin and less than we typocally spend at Long Horn. Hanover is about an hour and a half from where we live. Today we were in the area for other reasons and decided to give Big Mike's a try. We will definitely come back, just to eat here, even if we don't have any other reason to go to Hanover.

Bacon undercooked, however our waiter resolved the issue immediately and I was 100% satisfied. The prices were very reasonable. I could not believe they had a 10 Page menu. Absolutely will go back.
