I spent 30 minutes sorting through completely damaged pieces of plywood. The 1/4" sande plywood sheets were trashed and I went 6 sheets down to find one that wasn't messed up. Then I had the same problem with the 23/32" (3/4") birch? sheets. Since I will be using them for cabinets, they too cannot be messed up with smashed corners or surfaces that are destroyed, scuffed, or painted. I went to check out and the guy at the Pro Desk noticed that the one I had in my cart was also jacked up. I went back and couldn't find a replacement. The two star review however is because when I went in a few days later, the same jacked up pieces of plywood that I sat out were PUT BACK ON THE PILES. MANAGEMENT needs to sort through this junk wood and send it back. Nobody is buying it so all you are doing is pissing customers off because they have to pull out 10+ sheets of plywood before a normal one is found. Then they go back on the top of the stack for the next customer to remove and sit out.

Worst experience as a product supplier, refused to return or refund products damaged by Home Depot workers and trucks, or provide replacements for "life-time warranty" defects. All this, within 30 days of purchase, regardless of HD's 90 days statements. Basically, I have to go to court to recover any loses from HD negligence. AVOID THIS STORE AND SHOP ELSEWHERE

Drove from Chambersburg to Hanover to shop at Home Depot and at first was very pleased with the experience. The 2 women in the paint area were extremely friendly and helpful with our needs. Then came the undesirables! We were trying to decide what we needed in isle 5, wire covers for our newly installed wall mounted TV. 2 Sales persons, 1 male and 1 female, asked us to move down since they needed to access material with the order picker. We gladly moved and then they asked us to move more which we did. Then, a 3rd sales person (female) came into the isle. They asked us to leave the isle! How RUDE was that? We had been trying to decide which pieces we needed and were so pleased with the varieties vs Lowes. I immediately laid down the items we had searched so hard to find and moved on. As i was walking away i stated, i want to talk with a mgr. The women that closed the isle looked and said, I can see you are upset, what can I help you with? I stated, you just kicked us out of the isle!!Unbelievable and VERY POOR Customer interaction.

poor selection in general, lumber is a struggle, usually they're out of what you need or they just never restock. this morning was particularly frustrating. they had no lumber carts in the building as usual, so I walked outside to get one from the parking lot and saw a home Depot employee pushing one towards the building. so I asked for the cart and he said no it's for a customer and kept walking. now in my opinion the right thing to do would be give me that cart and go grab another one, I don't know why he would only bring one cart in when there isn't a single one in the store as it is. poor customer service in general. I've started going to Lowe's

About a month ago we had a new dish washer delivered. They charged us $200.00 to install it and $50.00 to remove the previous dish washer, however when they arrived, they let us know they were incapable of both removing the old dish washer and installing the new one. The gentleman let us know that the invoice would be revised to remove the costs of installation and removal. However, when I received a statement via email, both costs were still on the invoice. I immediately made various phone calls to the overall customer service, the customer service at the store in our area, and Home Depot's credit card company (Citi Bank). I also made a visit to Home Depot in person. Through all my efforts, I got absolutely nowhere except for an adjustment on my invoice that still left an additional $47.05 on my credit card statement that shouldn't have been there. I made around 10 (possibly more) phone calls in total where I was promised results and phone calls back that led to nowhere. I ended up paying my credit card statement (minus the 47.05) and it still has not been removed or credited to my card, about a month later. I had to purchase a fridge about a week ago and ended up paying $200.00 more at Lowe's just to avoid this potential issue if I went through Home Depot. That's how much I'm avoiding business at Home Depot.

Recently needed to replace our garbage disposal. Used the Hanover Home Depot website to identify the item I needed; confirmed it was in stock, as well as where it could be found in the store. Went to store, found the item exactly where expected, and purchased at a good price; installation was a breeze. Yet another positive experience as a Hanover Home Depot customer; confident it won't be my last .

I would stay away for the tool Rental. Charged me twice for it then refused to return the second charge, $239.79. Not a small fee either. The entire store is full of incompetent people, manager included. Save yourself a headache and stay away from this store.

My experience? Personally? I had a fn panic attack after I bought a ton of ish and a thunderstorm showed up just in time for me to.... have a panic attack. Other than that everything was POIFECT.

Got misdirected by cashier for mulch. Jeff walked all over the garden section and found my mulch out back. He graciously waited for me to get my car and.loaded for me. Excellent customer service!

I had to return an item purchased 2 days before, Diana at the return desk was absolutely amazing, for as busy as the return desk was she went above and beyond to help me. Then, Sam at the checkout was so helpful in getting my heavy equipment into my vehicle for me. Nice place friendly staff!

Went in for a propane exchange on Sunday morning, no one showed up after they said they would be out. After waiting about 10 minutes I went back i the store and asked if anyone was coming. One employee did end up helping after an eye roll and an “I guess”. A lot of the employees need fired or an attitude check, with a work ethic like that.

Their prime 2x4's are actually prime and better pickings than Lowe's. Sorry Lowe's, I usually like you best, but your wood sucks and is the same price as Home Depo. Workers were walking around for us to ask questions. Found a pair of gloves on a clip strip that definitely said like $3.18. Needed them in the store to move patio stone, and they ended up being $8.99 instead. Still bought them, I already used them ?♀️
