This place is terrible. Almost every time I've went the employees are just standing outside smoking, there's carts full of freight cluttering their already tight aisles, the store just looks dirty. I was with my mom shopping today and they had a BOGO on the green dot stuff and she double checked at the register and the miserable woman checking us out just said "nope its not" when it clearly said so on the sign. She made zero attempt to even be like "it's not but the sign does say blah blah blah so I'll put it through for you" she just acted like she couldn't care less.
We called the DM (whose phone number coincidentally was taped to the front door which probably tells you all you need to know honestly) and we're never going back. There are two other DGs in Hanover at Clearview and on Baltimore Street that are way more worth your time than this dump.

This store is a joke, every time I go in there’s carts covering the isles, I don’t know how anyone is supposed to shop like that, and the one lady is constantly on her phone. Today my fiance and I stood at the register waiting to be helped and she WAS ON HER CELL PHONE and completely ignored the line of customers. Hire competent employees/managers OR CLOSE THE STORE. What a joke.

I've been there twice, and both times I didn't feel welcomed. I, at least, got most of what I needed there. My second trip, however, made me question if I should ever return. I was in an aisle alone, rocking a trash can back and forth because it was wobbly and the other wasn't. A manager popped around the corner, stood there, and stared at me for a solid 30 seconds. I smiled at her, but she didn't react at all. We made eye contact, yet she still didn't say a word or react in any way before she silently walked away. I didn't care for that at all.

I don’t bother going in here anymore. It’s a 3rd of the size of the others. The aisles are too small and they never have anything. I’ve never seen a friendly face behind the register. If you could move to a bigger location half the problem would be solved. Every time I pull up I see 2-3 employees outside smoking.

Rudest, toothless cashier I've ever had the displeasure of getting close enough to linger in the stale cigarrette breath.Every second I was in here she acted like I, and everyone was wasting her precious time doing nothing. Congratulations on the probation, you entitled brat. I don't care what you've "been through" everyone's been thriugh something. This girl thinks she owns the place. Well I'll go elsewhere if you're going to go out of your way to just be nasty.

I love dollar general !!!! The staff is always nice, friendly and helpful. It's a rare occurrence that they don't have what I'm shopping for. Best of all they're close to home!!!!!Keep up the good work ladies!!!!!

Usually have what you need just a pain with all the inventory in the aisles that need to be put away so you have to move that to get what you need.

Newly redesigned. More space. Lots of nice items for good prices. Some bare shelves due to not everything being unpacked. Very clean and bright. Clean parking lot. Baskets and carts available for shopping. Problem with one of the checkout scanners but they were working on the phone to get it fixed, and kept the line moving. Pleasant efficient staff. I forgot to ask if they had a public restroom.
