Not sure about all the negative reviews. I've never once had an issue with getting my medications here. I did switch to CVS from Rite Aid after they told me my medication was no longer manufactured (which was an outright lie)I've been using CVS for years now for my medications. Sometimes it might be on back-order for a day and it's really no problem at all. Sometimes, not every employee has an answer to every single question. This store is extremely busy at the pharmacy, so I can understand why phone calls aren't answered in a timely manner. There's one time I remember I sat on hold for at least 30 minutes. Guess what? The world didn't end, and life went on. Geez.

The person who helped me was great. The customer restroom however was absolutely disgusting. Just not acceptable.

If I could give negative stars I would. Every single month I have to call to get my maintenance prescription refilled. I needed a new prescription (sent in 4 days ago) - I asked about it today. "It's not covered by your insurance, no I can't tell you how much it would be, you have to go stand in another (annoying long) line" If your insurance allows you to go to another pharmacy GO AS QUICKLY AS YOU CAN - AVOID THIS ONE!!! It is the WORST pharmacy I've used in 60 years.

I feel bad for the staff, but they are over their head. My doctor called in my prescription 24 hours earlier. I stopped by at 4:30PM, the new District Manager said they were not ready he would expedite my prescriptions. I told him I would be back in 30 minutes, he said they would be ready, I came back in 45 minutes, then stood in line for 15 more. When they pulled mine up, they said it wasn't ready, and were not sure when it would be. They went on to say that tje new District Manager had no clue, I would say I would agree. If he is the new manager, things are not looking up for the future.

Disgusting service. Always get an alert saying the prescription is ready but I have learned not to bother going for at least two more days because it's never ready on time when you go to get it . I understand if you can't get something done but please don't tell me to come get it and then not have it ready . I already waited in line to pick it up I already spent gas to go and get it and now I'm going to have to do it again not good . My husband went down there yesterday to pick up a prescription for me and of course they didn't have it ready and we had already waited two days to get it and I had gotten too notices that it was ready to pick it up . My husband is a very mild mannered man and not confrontational. The lady was very short with him and said what would only take me 10 minutes to do but I'm going to lunch now so you'll have to wait and she closed up the counter and left there were seven other people back there but they close the whole department for lunch . Now he came down after we got two notices saying that it was ready . I stopped going there to pick up my prescriptions because I get so angry I don't want to get myself in trouble . I've had enough and we are going anywhere but there and I will make sure I tell everyone I can not to go there for anything . I asked the store manager one time what was going on because the service was so poor and erratic and some of the people in there were very unpleasant and she said I can't do anything about that because the pharmacy is separate . Really you can't even give me an idea of what to do or a number to call . I worked in retail for years and I had a fire almost every person in that store by now very disappointing very disgusting will never shop at any CVS again

Corporate needs to come down from their high rise offices and go back to basic. This store is always extremely busy. They need more pharmacist and assistances I have been having the same problems every month since April it's now July Maybe change to a 24 hour? If you call the store it will take10mins before someone can even get to you. They go nonstop to handle waiters, drive thr, and the phone. This isn't meant to bad mouth any of the employees. Most are kind and professional. They need help. Technology has created alot of issues for the elderly, for sure . I'm becoming that generation myself. I just think if someone could watch the store for a week They would see how short staffed they are. You have the best business problem. More customers then you can serve. Please help them. Hanover is big and there are other choices but I'm sure you would prefer to fix the proble. Then lose it all together. I don't have answers. Sorry hope someone cares enough to make things better.

I have used CVS for the last 15 years & always loved them. I moved here last year and this CVS obviously can't handle the amount of prescriptions they receive daily. Pick up lines outside can take 30 mins, pick up lines inside are always busy and a majority of the time, your prescription isn't ready anyway. My doctor has sent in many prescriptions to them and 3 days later, it's still not filled!! That's unacceptable!!! I have sat on hold for an hour waiting to ask a quick question on numerous occasions. Something needs to be done here!! They are overwhelmed and the community is paying for it. They need to expand and hire more staff in order to run properly. I have recently taken all of my prescriptions to Giant unless they are mail order. It sucks that I don't have the convenience of the app anymore but it's just not worth dealing with all the nonsense just to pick up my much needed daily meds.

I have done without important medicine on several occasions! They never answer the phone and when u finally get them, it's always the same response!! We only have one pharmacist and we are very busy! We are 3000 prescriptions behind!! REALLY!! They need to make some major changes at that pharmacy and hire some professional ppl! I'm very patient, but that only goes so far.

Never able to get an accurate prescription update. They never use the text notification features.no one and I mean NO ONE knows how to answer a dam phone. I literally overheard a pharmacy worker say to another employee, do not take any calls and work on orders. "9 pharmacy calls" their machine says out loud. Screw this pharmacy I will be going elsewhere.

The pharmacy is a joke.Being patient only goes so far. Every time we have a prescription sent to CVS or a refill made, I get a confirmation that it is ready, yet when I show up I am told it is not ready! We started waiting until 24 hours after the prescription is sent to be filled and still had the same result. Today, my husband called first thing this morning to verify the prescription was ready. He was given the confirmation it was. He arrived at CVS around 230pm, waited over 20 minutes in line, and was informed by an employee that the prescription hasn't been filled yet. He explained that he called in this morning and confirmed it was ready. The response he was given from an employee was "well the automated system doesn't know we are behind on like 1,000 prescriptions". The worst part is that I requested the refill and received the confirmation TWO DAYS AGO!

This pharmacy is incredibly frustrating for so many reasons. Readyfill medications are never ready on time. I’ve often waited on the phone for an hour on hold before speaking to someone. I’ve been verbally told that my medication will be ready by a certain time only to drive over and find out it hasn’t even been ordered—recently this happened with the same medication three days in a row. I could go on and on. I’m sure they are short staffed, but the real issue is that the employees that are showing up just don’t seem to care.

This is beyond doubt the worst pharmacy I’ve ever used. Problems with prescriptions EVERY month. Literally each month. They lie right to your face, call later and get entirely different story. Last time I was told they didn’t have my prescription so I drove to the store to speak to someone. The pharmacist tells me ‘we have it, it’s just not our preferred brand’. WTH! Another time I asked question and the girl actually replied ‘I have no idea’! Ummmm…..maybe find out! That is your job. Oh n don’t even try to call, they never answer the phone. I’m transferring all of my prescriptions to Rite Aid.

As I do understand the issue in this current time with difficulty obtaining current medications but unfortunately I’m going to have to give a negative review. Every time I try to call in regards to a medication, I can never get a hold of someone. So I attempt to go into the pharmacy, there’s almost always atleast a 30 minute wait, and when they claim my medication is ready… it’s never ready. Im not sure why nobody answers the phones but you can’t make statements that “being a customer only goes so far”, we need our medication at a timely manner. You claim you’re short staffed and your computers are down. Well I try calling multiple times a day for over a week. At this time, I’m switching pharmacies.

Ive been given unmixed meds that require pharmacist to mix on multiple occasions. Scripts are not ready even after receiving notifications. Employees can’t find prepared Rx within their own store. All meds should be zero cost based on our insurance situation and we are told (every 20 days) that there is a copay that always needs sorted. Final straw was calling and being placed on hold and then hung up on. This happened on multiple occasions, repeatedly. This is unacceptable and we are switching all of our meds to a different pharmacy.
