Using this pharmacy now 9 months and having to fill multiple prescriptions on multiple occasions. Even if your doctor sends in the prescription a week or 2 weeks ago it’s never ready when you show up at the store to claim it. Staff tells you it’s “in progress “. It’s the same pattern every time. No phone call to your home or cell telling you rx is ready. Obviously a staffing shortage that needs rectified and I am not hopeful it will be fixed. I am in my 70s and this is closest pharmacy to my home but now going to find one elsewhere and not CVS: October 2024 update- this CVS much improved since my first review and I attribute it to the hiring of additional staff and the text messaging notifications of ready prescriptions that never happened previously. Please continue this better service. Upgraded from 1 to 4 stars.

This is the woman’s bathroom. You can tell it hasn’t been properly cleaned in days. I had to call in to the pharmacy because I hoping to pick up my med faster, spent 10 minutes between the menu and a bunch of questions to just leave a voicemail. Apparently the company thinks it’s better that we wait an hour or so to hear back from someone. The guy on the other side was beyond rude, reminded me that he was also helping people in the store in a very condescending way, everything he said tells me he should no longer be working with people. But if the pictures don’t scare you away then have fun.

Standing in line, now for the 3rd time, started observing what was going on in this pharmacy. This place is incredibly disorganized and the staff is incredibly condescending to their customers, especially their elderly customers. Never again!

I was less than a week post-op and recovering from one of the most painful surgeries a person can have. I had a terrible ongoing 3-day experience with a specific pharmacist here who would not refill my pain prescription. He intentionally ran me & my doctor’s office around for 3 days with the obvious intention of never filling my prescription. When I would call in, he would ask intrusive questions as though he was my doctor and was dismissive of my pain. It was as though he felt it was his personal responsibility to lecture me on the misuse of pain medication and treat me like I was a drug-seeking junkie, he had me crying on the phone. When I tried to get my prescription, he was telling me I needed 1 thing and my healthcare provider another. It got to the point my healthcare provider had to get involved. The tone that he took with me and my healthcare provider on the phone was completely diminutive and self-righteous. My healthcare provider suggested we try another pharmacy; we called Rite Aid and got my prescription in 2 hours with no hassle. If I would have used Rite Aid from the start, I would have been spared all of this hassle. No one should have to suffer this treatment to assuage the ego from a bitter pharmacist with a God-complex. I filed a complaint, to which even his superiors verified that if another pharmacy was able to fill my prescription, there shouldn’t have been an issue at this CVS. Needless to say, I will never shop here at this location again, and possibly all CVS in general because this man has poisoned the well for me.

It is incredibly inconvenient that the entire pharmacy section closes from 1:30-2:00. I understand that people need to take lunch but it isn’t possible to stagger employees’ lunches so that people can still pick up prescriptions? I needed a prescription specifically for an appointment I had and I had to reschedule the appointment because the pharmacy has to close and I couldn’t get the prescription. I could have come earlier, yes, however I was out of town and this was the only time I was able to come. This not only inconveniences me but my doctor as well because I needed to reschedule. I would think there are other ways to do this than completely closing. Even if there were limited services available, just someone behind the counter so that I could get my prescription and check out. It would be one thing if they just weren’t able to fill the prescriptions at that time.

Sometimes the pharmacy doesn't have what I need, probably because it's always packed with long lines inside and the drive-thru. Employees are rude, especially today with a guy talking about me because it took longer for me to check out since my coupons didn't scan but in the end I saved $40. I won't be rude and describe him, but he wasn't a pretty site either and definitely shouldn't be talking ill on a customers. Especially being in customer service he should know better. That being said, worst cvs ever but only location close to my house.

So so frustrating that the pharmacy closes for lunch. I literally waited in line for 10 min just for them to literally pull the gate down in my face when I pulled up. I was here before 1:30 and came straight from the DR's. I have 1 year old twins that are sick I can't just drag them through the store and now thanks to this they get to sit in the car an extra 30 min sick. I understand lunch is important and everyone should get a lunch but keeping our prescriptions from us when we have sick kids for an extra 30 min can make a huge difference. Thanks CVS for being the worst pharmacy I have ever used!

Went in at 1:38pm wasn’t aware of their lunch time closing hours because I did not call before coming so that was my mistake. The white gate was down in the store so asked POLITELY through the gate if they were closed for the day. The pharmacy technician let me know they close from 1:30-2:00p for lunch so I asked if that was for drive thru and again she repeated the hours this time with some sass condescendingly. The hours online say the close at 2 so tbh Im not even sure if they’ll open again. But I’ll go back because I need my daughter’s medicine. Probably going to switch BACK to York city cvs because they’re way nicer.

Not sure about all the negative reviews. I've never once had an issue with getting my medications here. I did switch to CVS from Rite Aid after they told me my medication was no longer manufactured (which was an outright lie)I've been using CVS for years now for my medications. Sometimes it might be on back-order for a day and it's really no problem at all. Sometimes, not every employee has an answer to every single question. This store is extremely busy at the pharmacy, so I can understand why phone calls aren't answered in a timely manner. There's one time I remember I sat on hold for at least 30 minutes. Guess what? The world didn't end, and life went on. Geez.

The person who helped me was great. The customer restroom however was absolutely disgusting. Just not acceptable.

If I could give negative stars I would. Every single month I have to call to get my maintenance prescription refilled. I needed a new prescription (sent in 4 days ago) - I asked about it today. "It's not covered by your insurance, no I can't tell you how much it would be, you have to go stand in another (annoying long) line" If your insurance allows you to go to another pharmacy GO AS QUICKLY AS YOU CAN - AVOID THIS ONE!!! It is the WORST pharmacy I've used in 60 years.
