I was at this thrift store last week to donate some items and I didn't like the way that the employee was like inspecting my items like if I was going to give them trash , and the guy didn't want to take a walker for some reason , so I asked him since he didn't want to take it if I could put it in their dumpster and he said no , I was upset because I donated items worth at least a couple hundred bucks and he wouldn't let me put one item in there , I would be looking for other places to donate in the future

I was just at Community Aid thrift store and I couldn't find my debit card. I didn't have enough cash to pay for all clothes I was getting my daughters. My visa I rarely use bounced twice...I turn my back for one second and my bill is paid off by either the cashier or someone in line. It was SUCH a blessing. I just wanted to let them know how much of a blessing it is. ?? I plan on trying to reach the manager tomorrow to see if it was one of the cashier's if not, could have been another person in line. Can't believe this happened to me!
If by chance that person does come across this post just know I'm sincerely grateful. Also, I did end up finding my debit card at our local Walmart. God bless

There is a local vintage reseller with their own store front that is paying an employee of this community aid to skulk around and sort through all the donations that come in. Anytime they see anything of value, she hides it then purchases it the thrift store price. They then take what they bought under false pretenses to the reseller who sells it at a 200% markup. This is so unethical and community aid should know about it. Your community aid employee is being paid by a different company to take items from your store. It's one thing for a person to scour the racks to resell. It's another for an employee to get paid by someone else to sort through the donations before they are even processed.

This store as of the late has destroyed thrifting. They are now on par with retail. You have to be high to pay what they ask here. They should rename the store Community Raid. Will never return used to be wonderful thing

Prices are much more affordable than larger thrift stores. Love that they take the time to sort all their clothing not only by size but seasons. They do a great job separating home goods and things are not crammed together. The racks are sometimes packed making it hard to look through clothes but that just shows they are always stocked with new inventory

I love thrift stores and this one is one of my favorites! It is organized not just by size but also by colors, which makes it easier to find what you need and also what you don't need LOL.
Prices are fair, but not cheap.
I recommend 100% to visit this store.

I love this store, often I go on for specific items and come out with all kinds of things for my kids, nieces, neighbor kids, the deals are just too good- don’t have the time I used to, but today was simply great- harder to find stuff when I can’t make family wednesdays, but today I went over for indoor soccer shoes- as is the case they are usually wiped out by Thursday but one of the workers was so helpful he suggested other stores where I might find them since I needed them for tomorrow I was able to get them at another store for in a pinch- their staff are always helpful even when I can’t get what I need there -thank you I didn’t disappoint my son today he will have indoor soccer shoes with the help of your kind workers? and of course I still got a few deals down the other kiddos ?

This is a wonderful thrift store run by an incredibly friendly team. The only thing I wish is now that I have a kid I'm buying second hand toys, and I wish they wouldn't tape everything to holy heck, especially toy sets that are missing many pieces, only to come home and be disappointed. Other than that, we shop this store multiple times a year and it's something my mom and sister and I do together for fun. You never know what treasure you're going to find.
