Pretty disappointed in the experience I had today at Ulta. Came in for a touch up on my eyebrows before leaving for a business trip. The wax must have been too hot because I have a bad burn under my brow, that is still swollen and red hours later. Note, I do not use retinol or any medications on my skin. The stylist also took way too much off the tail end of my brows. My once thick eyebrows now look very thin and unattractive. The stylist was incredibly nice, hence why I hate leaving this review, but this service was not $30 worth.

Junie was super super helpful she answered all my questions with kindness and gave me great suggestions. She was super patient with me even after all the times I changed my mind on something. Whatever she’s getting paid now is not enough with how amazing she is.

I had a bad experience in the York store. The manager, Mary, was rude,and I refuse to go back there. The manager Becca from the Hanover store reached out to me and apologize for my bad experience that I had at the York store. She offered for me to come into the Hanover store to get my makeup done with 50% off. I called back and talked to another manager Jen and she scheduled my appointment. I arrived and I must say that ALL of the employees are so pleasant and welcoming. When I got to the salon, Nicole and Alexis welcomed me and apologize for my experience at the York store. Nicole tells me that there will be no charge! I was shocked! How nice is that?! They had nothing to do with the rudeness of Mary the manager from the York store, but they showed me that Ulta, at least the Hanover store put customers first! My makeup artist was a young lady name Alexis. She was fabulous! I'm a person that doesn't wear makeup and Alexis made sure I was comfortable with everything she did. She explained step by step of what she was doing and explained the different makeup she used on me. I have to say that Alexis did a fabulous job! She truly knows what she's doing! I HIGHLY recommend the Hanover store if you are looking to get your makeup done! I definitely will be returning! Thank you ladies for a great experience!

I recently had the pleasure of getting my curly hair cut into a mullet by my incredibly talented best friend Kyla. The transformation was beyond amazing—it’s like she can see what I want inside of my head and makes it happen! She takes her time to ensure every cut is perfect. Her energy and sweetness made the whole experience not just enjoyable but memorable. I’ve been having Kyla cut my hair for the last several months, and she always leaves me feeling so cute. I trust very few people to do anything to my curls. If you’re looking for someone who’s both skilled and personable, I highly recommend her!

The ladies in the salon are AMAZING!! I highly recommend them for a wedding. They were pleasant the whole time (even under a time crunch) they made the bride look and feel amazing. They even surprised us with some donuts and coffee while we waited. Thank you to the salon team for helping make a very special day even more special.

i don’t frequent ulta too terribly much because i wear makeup very seldomly, but today i went in for some pimple patches. i’ve never tried them before and i thought, what the hell, can’t hurt nothin, i pick at em and make my face look all tore up anyway haha! i had also ran out of my favvvvv liquid liner, very sad :(( BUT!!!,,,, Leilani was there to save the day! she has the absolute BEST personality, she is so sweet and helpful! she helped me through picking out patches and even made sure i found the liner i like! not to mention, last time i had been in, she did not give up on helping me find my account and even updated it for me, now it’s a breeze anytime i go in. i couldn’t find a survey on my receipt, so my next best option was to write this review, Leilani is AMAZING!!! thank you girl, you turn my days around everytime :) !!

I went to Ulta yesterday 05/08/2024, to look for makeup since I am an in a Wedding soon. I am not one to ever wear makeup, so I do not really know anything about what to buy or what I need. Paige approached me and helped me figure out exactly what shades I needed for my skin tone, and helped me pick everything else I inquired about out as well. She was so kind and helpful, and made sure what she picked was within my budget and the right products for me. I am so appreciative of her help and will definitely return to buy more of the products if I like them!

Nicole is my stylist and she is fantastic! She takes her time to make sure she is customizing your service based on your request. She absolutely exceeds expectations!! Her experience with hair extensions and coloring is just not found in the area.

First and last time in an Ulta!!! Wasn’t greeted at all, the same girl walked by me twice as I was clearly walking around trying to find something. The third time she walked by she finally offered to help me. I tell her what I’m looking for, she replies, ohhh, we don’t carry that at this location! I’ll stick with Sephora!!!

I’ve been getting my hair lightened for over 15 years and I have never had anyone as thorough and talented as Alyssa. She really took the time to be gentle and care for the integrity of my hair and I came out with ZERO damage! My hair feels softer than when I went in AND it’s exactly what I wanted, I’ll definitely be going back to see her again!

Got my ears pierced at Ulta- huge mistake. The first piercing is crooked but I didn’t notice until after, because the second piercing had to be done twice! She screwed it up and had to try again. Now I’m trying to take first one out so I can let it heal and go to an actual professional piercer (which I’m now aware I should have done in the first place), however I can get the damn thing out!!! $55 wasted on a horrible, painful experience.

I recently visited Ulta Beauty Brow Bar, for an eyebrow waxing session with the talented esthetician, Amanda, who I affectionately call the "Picasso of Eyebrows." Her precision and expertise truly transformed my brows. She took the time to understand my preferences and facial structure before carefully shaping them. The result was stunning—clean, defined arches that beautifully frame my face. The waxing process was surprisingly gentle and virtually pain-free, thanks to her skilled technique and calming demeanor. I left feeling confident and thrilled with my new look. I highly recommend her services to anyone seeking exceptional eyebrow care!

I came to Ulta after getting my hair cut some where else I was ready to shave my head I hated it so much!! Alyssa took the time to listen to my needs likes and dislikes!! Needless to say I have returned to her numerous times and will continue with her!! I’m to the point I can sit in her chair and say do your thing!!! She is hands down one of the best!!
