The worst lift I’ve ever bought it locks when you put it up not only did they give us a quote when they came with the lift and we had already gave it down payment. They charge us $2000 extra they are scam. Do not ever use them they promised to make good with that. He’s a liar.

I purchased a backyard, buddy, boat trailer lift at the Good Guys car event in Colorado. I’m very happy with the lift itself. Delivery was very prompt and good communication along the way.
A friend of mine and I put it together. I figured a mechanical engineer and an aircraft mechanic could figure it out. We found the directions to be a little bit lacking.
A couple items that I think could be improved. I found the locking mechanism to be a little bit wonky. ( I think I can work on the rigging on it to make it a bit better. )
With this particular lift, I need to move the tire rails in and out for the boat and then back for vehicles. I think designwise this could be improved upon with a little bit of Teflon some quick release pins that are easier to access and some additional consideration for where the rails go. More specifically where the holes are drilled to secure the rails.
All in all, I am very happy with the lift.

I purchased the 2 post 10k lb lift several months ago. Setup was very easy. I red over instructions and it was in in just a few hours. I had a slight issue and called them on the 21st of September 2024 and immediately was able to get help and figured out it was due to me forgetting to grease the slides of the lift. Greased it and problem was immediately solved. I use this lift almost every day. I'm very happy with it.

Purchase and install of lift was excellent experience. I was disappointed that the drip trays are too narrow for the wider track setting. Purchase of extensions for drip trays to fit on wider setting is an additional charge. These extensions should be provided for free…….

I cannot, in good conscience, recommend Advantage Lifts or Backyard Buddy Lifts. I feel obligated to warn others about this company after my concerns were consistently disregarded and ignored. Their lift systems have poor quality control and bad customer service. Please consider another manufacturer. I had nothing but issue after issue. Inaccurately manufactured weld angles, improper hardware alignments, missing or misaligned parts, incomplete directions, unfastened bolts and hex-head screws, leaking hydraulics, missing parts in kit, 3 week long delay in replacement parts, and contemptable customer service that did not adequately reimburse me for lost time, costs, and an inaccurately made structural ramp cross-member. An all around headaches to deal with. Please Use Great Caution!

We ordered an electrical piece for our 2-post lift and gave them our UPS shipper number to ship next day air in order to get our lift functional again. 4 days later and the item (that was in stock) has still not shipped and our lift is still down. My card was charged the second I placed the order. Very disappointing experience.

I was considering taking this opinion down, since once I put it here, the company called me and said they were sending someone out to repair the lift.... however, I want to say that they have not sent anyone and do not return my calls still.....No Good....I bought 2 lifts with five year warranties, one of them has a bad weld and it is not safe. I spoke with them over and over and they blocked my number and refuse to honor the warranty. $4000 lost. The worst customer service I have ever experienced.
