You can’t get a hold of human beings. There office doesn’t have a secretary, it has a kiosk with like 3 options on it. The phone number has no human beings to talk to, it’s all automated and virtually useless. The only way to talk to a actual human is by getting to billing and they can’t help you with anything medically.

Called 7 times to speak to someone each time connected to recording and them disconnected . This was at 9am. Not everyone wants connected to a website. They want a person to talked tooto talk.

Staff is cold and rude, blood draw is painful, nurse doesn’t explain process and jumps right into it without warning. If you miss an appointment and reschedule while sitting in the waiting room, they look at you and ignore you…even if you are the only person in the waiting room, they will not take you. Lol.

Rude crew, terrible service. You cannot walk in as you would wait for hours. Even you have an appointment scheduled, you still have to come in on time but still wait for hours.

As of yesterday, the lab is not marked on or inside building. (It's on the second floor of a UPMC facility.) Employee was condescending and rude to me and my family member after we were late because we couldn't find this secret unmarked lab. After she yelled at us, I told her that the patient has anxiety and to please treat them with gentleness. She said that didn't matter, she had a schedule to keep. She didn't care when the patient cried during the blood draw in reaction to the verbal abuse, and she continued to be angry and mean.

I went to this Quest Diagnostics once to get several blood and urine tests. I appreciated that their website had appointments available in the early morning. I checked in through a touchscreen kiosk. The waiting room looked nice and comfortable. My phlebotomist began my appointment on time, and it lasted just a few minutes. She was very professional in drawing my blood and speaking with me. A couple of other phlebotomists were in other rooms, but I did not interact with them. My test results were on their website in less than one day. Please note that this Quest Diagnostics is located on the second floor of the UPMC Outpatient Building.

Quest Diagnostics is a clinical laboratory business that provides diagnostic testing. This particular Quest Diagnostics is located on the second floor inside the UPMC Outpatient Center. I usually go to different locations of Quest Diagnostics, but those other locations did not have any appointments available for the early morning, so I went to this location instead. I highly recommend that patients make an appointment days or even weeks in advance if possible, because appointment times fill up, and then patients who lack an appointment must wait in the waiting room until a phlebotomist has time to squeeze them in. My appointment was at 7:30 AM, and I arrived several minutes early. I checked into the touchscreen kiosk by scanning the barcode from an email, my identification, and my insurance card. I believe that three phlebotomists were working on that day. My phlebotomist started my appointment on time. She made some pleasant conversation with me as she easily drew blood from my antecubital vein. Then she gave me a labeled cup for my urine test. The bathroom was clean. My appointment ended after just a few minutes--efficient! Days earlier, I had ordered several laboratory tests through Quest Diagnostics's website, and the website made my test results available only about 20 hours after my appointment.

Says they are open until 3. Doors were locked at 2:40. The person was standing there not letting me in. This happened before but this location is awful & the people are extremely rude.

I've always used Quest for any bloodwork that I need to get done for work/my health. Unfortunately, I've been to this location several times now and have had to wait 30+ minutes past my scheduled appointment time. (I always schedule online about a week in advance, super fast and easy!) I recommend the McKnight location, I am always in and out in under 10 minutes, and the staff go above and beyond to make it a quick, safe, and comfortable experience. This location always makes me feel a bit like a nuisance (I understand that with little staff, I am just another box they need to check off to get to the next person, but it doesn't feel great in the moment!). I've had a great experience with Quest overall, but not at this particular location unfortunately.

Don’t bother walking in because they won’t see you. Don’t bother making an appointment because the kiosk doesn’t work. And if by chance the kiosk does work, there’s only one employee. Expect to be there for two hours minimum.

I avoided getting my blood taken for so long due to the awful experience I had (not at this location). I was a walk in with no appointment and it was so easy to schedule. The team was very nice and professional and I was in and out! Thanks guys!

My wife and I have used their service several times and have found the staff to be friendly and professional. Typically a very short wait and out in 15 minutes!

Honestly 5 stars is probably a stretch lol but I've had such miserable experiences getting blood tests in Pittsburgh lately - went here today and they were knowledgeable and efficient. Was quite the relief.
