Dirty aisles throughout the store. Half eaten food and trash are on the floors which could also use a good mopping. Pest traps are evident and visible to customers. Terrible customer service as staff seem to be "put out" if you ask them any questions or even pleasantly try to engage with them. They appear disgruntled and irritated all of the time giving the impression they are unapproachable. Many times empty shelves greet customers. While others again are laced with half eaten food, trash and misplaced items. A lack of work ethic or pride in the workplace is again quite evident. If you need a cart- good luck scoring one inside, especially one with all wheels working efficiently. Dirty parking lots and disgusting under stocked bathrooms are the cherry topper. I you need something, you're better off going to Target or Giant down the road.

I was in here yesterday and the efficiency of this place was amazing. I went over to the deli area where the lady behind the counter was more than helpful and accommodating. To top it off there was an employee near the register area that was checking people out with a stand alone scanner that made the checkout process extremely easy and convenient. The store wasn't crowded, the employees were extremely helpful and courteous, and the products on the shelves were well stocked. Compared to other Walmart's, I will drive 20 minutes out of my way just to go to this one.

On Tuesday evening 9-10-19 I was at Walmart and had a cart full of a weeks worth of groceries. I chose check out 15 the "cigarette check out" because there was not a line. As I began unloading my items on the belt the cashier had her back toward me for what seemed like 1-2 minutes. Eventually she turned facing me, not looking at me or making any acknowledgement that I was there but went ahead and continued on her phone possibly texting. I placed the plastic divider behind our last items for the next person in line. As the cashier finished scanning the last of our groceries she threw the plastic divider behind the next person's groceries next in line. I was appalled by her behavior or lack their of. She spouted my total of $200 plus, handed me my receipt, I politely thanked her and her response was "yep." As we left the store I wanted to stop at the self checkout where I saw a manager in a yellow vest but didn't. I do feel bad for this person that they think it is acceptable to act this way and to treat customers in this manner.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Tried to go shopping here and was told that we could not park in provided handicap because our truck was to long. Not our fault your handicap spots are no bigger than a compact car. Will never shop at a Walmart again.

This store compared to temple and wyomissing is wonderful ! The store is wonderfully clean and well stocked. The employees are pleasant . the lines are kept short for the most part. Id rather go to hamburg or exeter and have a far better experience.

Right to the point the place is super clean shelves are stock up in the mornings and empty by the evenings . The staff is very pleasant to interact with and the prices are on the money !! The sporting goods area is a hit or miss for ammo which is a lot cheaper then Cabela's right next door! This store doesn't sell firearms I guess they could compare to cabela selection. The deli area needs some work and more selection but it does have the basics.

I was in this Walmart Sunday to get my 21 year old son a pair of shoes. These two ladies working in the men's show department were amazing. I think one was Janelle and sorry do not remember the other darling lady. But they worked their butts off trying to find what we needed. You need more employees like these ladies. They were so patient, kind and bent over backwards to service us. I hope they get recognized for their work. Me and my son were very happy and he got the shoes he wanted. Cheers to these two ladies.

This is a relatively new Walmart, located near Cabela's in Hamburg. Everything is spaced out more than the typical Walmart, its usually clean, and the staff friendly and helpful. Your typical Walmart selection of goods, including fresh backed goods and a garden center as well. Although im not the biggest fan of Walmart, this one is much, much nicer than the one in Temple: its newer, has better spacing of the merchandise, the staff is actually helpful, and the lines are usually staff properly, resulting in short to no lines.

One of the nicest Walmarts around. It's outside is designed to look like the Cabela's which is also in the area. This Walmart is always clean, the staff is always courteous and they almost always have what I need.

I usually cannot stand shopping at Walmart. Most Walmart locations I have ever been in are super crowded, have long lines, and can never find a parking spot without circling the lot a couple of times. Enter the Hamburg Walmart. We found this location on our way back to NJ from the Yuengling Brewery in Pottsville. This location is nothing like any other Walmart I've entered before. Yes, it is huge and has all of the typical items of the other Walmart stores, but it was easy to find a parking spot. It wasn't a madhouse in there (and we went on a Saturday afternoon). And I found a really helpful employee who was able to direct us to what we were looking for. All in all, it was a successful visit. The only negative for me is that they were cleaning the ladies room, so I couldn't use it (but they did offer another location in the back of the store). But hey, I'll gladly skip using the ladies room if it means it's clean. Well done Walmart. You have restored my faith in the chain.
