I have gone here A lot. But only sometimes does my veteran benefits work. So I made 700+ Dollar purchase and made sure to tell the female waiting on me I was a veteran. So I get discount. She looked up my email. And Said. "Oh there it is".. so I was thinking All good. I was in rush. When I got home. NO VETERAN DISCOUNT.. I could have went back, but I don't deal well if someone would be rude. So please fix system.. or don't promote! Simple. Other than that great store.

This location always has friendly, helping employees and always has stock of what I need. I will drive longer to get here than go to a closer location/store.

Poor at best. Nothing is stocked in the correct place - i.e. tile. Made the mistake of having a Lowes employee cut wood in 6 inch widths - not one piece is 6 inches wide. Alot of slap jockeys standing around who ask if you need help. When you ask for help or ask about an item, slap jockeys are clueless. Inventory (according to their hand held scanners) says there is 400+ pieces of lath, but none are to be found. I'm in a dress attempting to lift 4 x 8 pieces of utility board off the 2nd shelf in the lumber area - no slap jockeys could be found to assist. A cashier who talks like a toddler, another employee who has rainbow hair, the 'supervisor' of the countertop area who has products displayed that are no longer available and quoted prices that don't correspond with what is listed. These slap jockeys are 'playing' like they have experience in home improvement/remodeling - not! I guess youre hired if you're a f up. Disappointed every time to say the least.

This was primarily my go to home improvement store. Valerie at the Pro desk has always been helpful. However, the return policy with cash purchases has become ridiculous. If you don’t surrender your personal information, it is impossible to return an item. We are talking about two tubes of unused caulk. Back to Home Depot I go.

Went to get 3 large bags of soil for gardening. I have a huge open flat cart with two bags side by side and one laying in the middle over the top. I go to checkout but can't find the cashier in the garden center as he was hiding in the booth playing with his phone. He finally stands up looks at me, looks at the cart, and says "how many?" Let me think.. I look at him, look at the cart, and say 3. I also wanted to put a specific amount on one card and the rest on another. That wasn't done either. It all went on one card. I left in disgust. Try hiring people with some kind of intelligence!

What an absolute joke.
Took a MANUFACTURES coupon to this store after purchasing a primo water cooler. They treated me like a criminal and like I printed the coupon at my house.
Told me I need the proof of purchase to use the coupon. (Which I didn't immediately have) pulled up the receipt on my phone and presented the proof of purchase. Customer service said, verbatim: "I'm not going to just give you a free bottle of water!". Isn't that what the coupon is for?? This isn't rocket science.
The next store was happy to assist and we got a good laugh out of the Hamburg staffs poor performance.
I live in Hamburg and have always enjoyed this Lowe's. That seems to be changing rapidly.

Tried to return items without a receipt. All 3 items in new condition. No damage or use. I was told store policy has changed and returns are no longer permitted without a receipt. No store credit will be issued. Very disappointing. Never pay cash here again for anything……if I come back.
