I had Dr call glucose sensor into Pharm. However wrong script sent to pharmacy. Wasn't Ritaid or pharmacy fault. However the Gentleman Pharmacist on duty was able to sort out the problem. Thankful for the great service.

I recently went to this Rite Aid to pick up a prescription for a friend. When I arrived, the pharmacy was closed for lunch and had a line. I patiently waited for all the customers at the pharmacy line to be served and asked about my friend’s medication. The cashier asked a pharmacist standing right next to her about the prescription and the pharmacist said it was being filled. There were no other customers waiting, just me. The cashier said it would be ready in 20 MINUTES if I wanted to wait. I told then that unfortunately I didn’t have 20 MINUTES and left. I went to the McDonalds in the plaza for a coffee and called my friend to tell him the medication wasn’t ready yet. He told me they just sent him a text that his prescription was ready for pick up. WHERE IS THE COMPASSION? I returned to the store (5 minutes later, not 20) and picked up the prescription. I believe the pharmacy staff could benefit from sensitivity training. There is a heightened responsibility to provide customer service in a compassionate manner when providing a product that is required for health care. Allowing a customer to walk out of a pharmacy without the medication sought due to either a rigid customer policy or a general lack of compassion is unacceptable. The pharmacist was right next to the cashier when a 20 minute wait was announced. A simple comment like (sir, I’m working on it now, it will be ready momentarily) would have been not only compassionate, but honest… If zero stars were an option, it would be appropriate

Prescriptions are always a few days late. Meds I can't be without. Female pharmacist is condescending and rude.

The one pharmacy technician needs an attitude adjustment. She is very rude and does not want to help you when you want a price adjustment on your prescription. I thought that was part of their job!!!

I was really liking this pharmacy up until today. I went in to pick up baby formula and my pills and upon getting to the counter I was asked if I would like the COVID shot. I declined because I’m not really sure about it yet. She proceeded to pressure me by saying “don’t you want to take care of you baby.” How dare you imply I’m not taking care of my babies because I didn’t get your shot. Well she ended the conversation saying well if you muster up the courage just come back. If I don’t want the shot I don’t have to get it! I also don’t need my parenting skills to be judged directly to me because of my choice. Now if I do decide to get it I will NOT get it here.

Getting our second covid vaccine. The pharmacist on duty today by the name of Cindy. Was very accommodating in giving my 92 year old mother in vaccine curbside in the car.

Very rude and slow in the pharmacy. You’d be saving time actually by driving to one farther away.

Moving from the Mid-west I was not familiar with Rite Aid. They are a little more on the small town drug stores and have pretty much anything you may need. I like that I can easily park and get in and take care of my business and get the heck out quickly.
