“The shelves were well stocked and I was easily able to find the ingredients needed for dinner. It was fairly busy in the store, but the wait for the cashier was short. The gentleman cashier was pleasant towards elderly customers as well.”

“A new friend reminded me about this place, saw an old friend while shopping. Solid store, check out exactly what you're buying and enjoy the prices. The owner was on the floor, like he should be. Making adjustments to merchandise to fit more out. Workers in the store listened to the boss without a word ( not that he was being mean just poinient) and even smiled! I'll be returning and bring friends.”

“I can remember going there as a child. We would visit relatives in Brownsville (Clara & Pete Christoff). We always stopped on the way there or going home to Washington, PA. I loved the smells, the samples, the food (mostly the imported Provolone Cheese!). The older folks would talk in Italian, it was magical. I hope I can visit there again. I so miss those days.(My last name is Paletta).”

“I'm not sure where to even start........ every single thing I have ever gotten from this store has been absolutely wonderful!! The pepperoni rolls are phenomenal.... the princess cakes cannot be beat... the hot foods and catering are all super delicious and very reasonably priced!!! Honestly, I don't know why you would live in this area and not get what you need from Penncraft Market. Also, it is so important to buy local and keep our small businesses up and running. Kudos to everyone there who helps to make every visit worth every penny!! Keep up the good work!”

“Aldi is a great place to stretch your grocery budget and Aldi finds are always fun. My personal favorites are the international items. There's always something unique to try. Right now it's peanut puffs, a tasty crunchy treat.”

“Wanted to give a Shout Out to Michael a cashier at The Belle Vernon Giant Eagle! In a world full of so much negativity Michael is The Happiest Person I’ve ever met! He always engages you in conversation and has a huge smile on his face! Yesterday I stopped in after work and I was still wearing my scrubs. He said “obviously you are in the healthcare field and I’d like to thank you for your service!” I in turn thanked him for his service also! He continued the conversation with many more compliments! A genuine asset to Giant Eagle!!”

“**Saving Plenty at Save A Lot in Uniontown**For everyday groceries on a budget, Save A Lot in Uniontown hits the spot. Tucked off Walnut Hill Road, this small store packs a surprising punch when it comes to variety and value. Here's why I'll be back:**Prices that Please:**Save A Lot truly lives up to its name. Prices are consistently lower than big-box grocery chains, making it a haven for budget-conscious shoppers. From pantry staples to fresh produce, you'll find everyday essentials at a fraction of the usual cost. I snagged a pack of ground beef for dinner that was nearly half the price elsewhere.**Variety in Every Nook:**Don't let the compact size fool you. This little store holds a surprisingly diverse selection. You'll find groceries for a quick meal, cleaning supplies for a spotless home, toiletries for self-care, and even hardware for minor repairs. Plus, a decent pharmacy section tackles your health needs. It's like a mini department store for all your basic needs.**Hit-or-Miss Freshies:**While most items were surprisingly fresh, I noticed a few produce sections weren't as stocked or vibrant as on my usual grocery run. It's worth checking dates and picking through for good deals, but you might need to visit another store for consistently prime produce.**Friendly Neighborhood Vibes:**The staff at the Uniontown Save A Lot were friendly and helpful. They pointed me towards sale items and even helped me find a specific spice. It's nice to shop at a store where you feel like more than just a customer.**Overall:**For everyday essentials and budget-friendly finds, Save A Lot in Uniontown is a solid choice. While the occasional produce inconsistency might require a backup store, the friendly service, surprising variety, and unbeatable prices make it a worthy stop for savvy shoppers.**Rating:** 4 out of 5 stars (minor deduction for hit-or-miss produce, but the value and vibe win me over!)Feel free to adjust this review to reflect your own experiences and highlight any specific aspects you found particularly positive or negative. Happy shopping!”

“Fast, friendly, clean environment. Staff was wonderful, friendly, and helpful. The Roscoe DG has a much better set-up than many of the others I've been in. The aisles are much wider and it's much more organized/cleaner. Saved 30 dollars with my two five dollar off (Saturday) coupons, combined with other digital coupons, which was super convenient and also helpful to my budget. It's a store I actually don't mind going into, unlike others, such as Walmart. I can spend an hour in this store easily, without all of the overcrowding and hostility from other shoppers that I experience in bigger stores. It's much more peaceful, like shopping should be. Sometimes I end up purchasing items I don't even need, just because I'm able to spend the extra time browsing. When I'm at bigger stores like Walmart, I get in and out as fast as possible. I only "browse" at Walmart online because the physical environment is just incredibly intolerable. Grateful for DG with an environment that allows me to shop in peace!”

“Most of the staff is very friendly and not bothered if you need help (self-check out.) Best doughnuts around but you got to get them early; $10 a dozen and way way better than dd. If you only shop sales prices aren't so bad but for everything else it's cheaper to go elsewhere. They do offer pump perks so if you do shop here make sure you get the store card because they really do add up (must be used within 3 mths.)”

“As part of the Visit PA 2023 Scooped Ice Cream Trail, I made my way to New Salem. It was an over hill over dale trip. The local churches must have just let out. Several families came in with one focus ... ice cream. Cones, quarts, and gallons were sailing out the door. I sat outside on a bench and totally enjoyed my ice cream. One family joined me on the benches. They said stopping for Jackson Dairy was a mandatory stop on the way to and from grandparents' house in Laurel Caverns. Getting gas to make the trip home was 1 stop shopping.”

“Oh Wow love that little store. So convenient and their cappuccino, coffee and slushy machines are right at the door when you walk in and yes Fresh!!! I just discovered this cute little store with all kinds of variety a few weeks ago. So much better than walking into a bigger more crowded store. ❤?”

“My go to store for literally EVERYTHING! I live only 5-6 mins away so me and my husband go here alot for household needs, snacks, drinks ect. I can even get my pet food there. The store is always clean, aisles are clutter free unlike other dollar generals i have seen. The employees are all friendly and make you feel welcomed every day. They know my family now considering how much we go there.”

“Not a reflection of the store but it's nice to know black families here raise their kids to make fun of Transgender women verbally mocking me and my height mama must be proud "get in the car"”

“My grandfather Steve bought his lottery tickets from here for longer than I could possibly remember. He's been gone for over two years now, but I appreciate the effort y'all took to give a retired coal miner something to do in his spare time. Thanks.”

“Found some good deals with their app and in-store discounts. Employees were helpful with finding products, while they were stocking shelves. But still took the time to tend to the customer.”

“Love the stuff they have there. A lot of nice things outside for summer. They are so cute and they are like 4 or 5 bucks because they are trying to get rid of summer things.”
