I would like to recognize an employee of the Werner Co. We have Werner Co. Pull down ladder which was becoming impossible to push back up into the attack. I called the number listed for Werner, was put on hold for quite a while and left my number for a call back. I did get a call back shortly thereafter from a very knowledgeable lady who walked me through the remedy and it worked after two tries. Thank you!

Not only are the company's products simply dangerous, but they don't even accept responsibility or stand behind them. Weld failed and bolt broke on ladder rack about 5 years old causing a life-threatening situation. Company's response was that it was out of warranty, though paperwork claimed lifetime warranty. Seems like the outlook for this company is pretty bleak.

Are you people still in business? It is impossible to get anyone by phone and my E mails are not answered. I don't believe I will buy any more of your products. I bought replacement parts ET 658 through Amizon. Now it appears the springs must be replaced. What size springs do I need? Is your management aware of you poor answering service?

Their 6 foot aluminum step ladder, model 366, is full of aluminum burrs and sharp edges. Handle the ladder for 2 minutes and you will be bleeding. It would cost Werner very little to tumble deburr those arms and brackets. I have the experience and files to remove all of those burrs, which took me a half hour. I would have just returned it to Home Depot if I wasn't already on the job site and painting had begun.

A Werner ladder collapsed under me while using it on a flat, concrete surface. The company says they are not at fault because the kegs collapsed inward. They claim this would never happen. Despite the photos I emailed, they are unable to see the truth. The ladder did collapse outward. The legs buckled causing my fall. I injured my head in several places, my elbow, upper arm, knee and sustained many mi or cuts and scrapes. Although they deny any liability they want me to sign a release.... Read More

I have purchased ladders from Werner for years. I have generally been happy. However, after purchasing a ladder that was advertised as "Twist Proof", the ladder became twisted. We called the company, gave them everything they asked for, but ultimately the representative we were dealing with did not stand by this "Twist Proof" claim. They told us there was nothing they could do. Its disappointing to say the least. I've probably spent thousands with this company over 20 years. I would expect better from a homestate company like this.

Werner does not stand by their products and will ignore all complaints related to defective products. About 3 months ago I was using a 16ft Werner extension ladder to do some roof repair on my house. The ladder was only about a year old. While I was on the ladder, it suddenly crumbled under me and I landed hard. I had trouble walking for a week and had severe bruising on my arm. I contacted Home Depot. Where I purchased the ladder, and they told me I needed to call Werner. To date, they have ignored 4 calls, 2 emails, Twitter, Instagram and my Facebook message to the FB company page.

Shame, shame, shame on Werner Ladder Co. I bought their 8' aluminum ladder. I had "set" the ladder properly (Ex home builder). I was on it with my feet on the 4' step. The bottom step collapsed, throwing me away from the ladder onto hard ground. I broke five ribs. For the first time in my 71 year old life I decided to sue (never again). Werner is self insured. That does not surprise me because they never (probably never) pay. My lawyer was told that they have all the evidence they need to defend this ladder and that I must have fallen onto the ladder. They have more money than God, so what chance do I have to pursue. I DID NOT FALL on the ladder. The ladder is defective but I don't have the money to prove it.

Werner ladders are the bomb. I had to get a 22' to do some work on rafters in our office to hang some cable and wireless networking gear. We then had to look at the HVAC system to figure out why it wasnt going into some of the conference rooms. The ladder obviously does the full 22' extended but can also shrink down or fold into a normal fold out or step ladder. You can even use it on stairs as the retraction makes it possible to have different height segments. It's a bit on the heavy side but that's why it's heavy duty.
