I'll come back to the Greensburg location every time I need a U-Haul. That's solely based on the experience I had with Joseph Morgan II. We connected on many things, but his customer service was amazing.

I rented a 15' truck that had roof damage and was leaking bad. The water seeped through my shrink wrap and water stained a fabric couch. The manager offered me a lousy 10 $ for the truck destroying my $800 couch fabric

I visited this location 3 times to purchase boxes for a move. They were wonderful - friendly and helpful. I would have given them five stars. BUT.... It was moving day and we were literally on our way out of town. The rental truck with my husband and all of our possessions was already heading down Rt. 30 ahead of us. I had a backseat full of extra boxes to return - I couldn't see out my rear window due to the boxes - they needed to be returned right then. I admit - I didn't have my receipt for the return as it inadvertently was packed at the last minute - totally my bad. When I returned the boxes in the store and spoke with Merle (the owner, per his name tag) he wouldn't/couldn't give me a refund. Like I said, the boxes had to be returned right then. He told me that Will, the (other?) owner was in a meeting and to call him the next day. He wrote down what I returned and my contact information and left it for Will. The intent was for me to send the receipts once I found them in unpacking. The next day I called the store. Will wasn't available so I left a message. The next day I called and was auto-rolled to the corporate number. They told me that I needed to work locally. Three more calls to the store were also rolled to corporate. Finally I called the cell number on Will's business card. No answer so I left a message. I called a few days later. No answer, left a message. A couple of days later I called the store and was once again rolled to corporate. I can accept that I won't get my money back because I didn't have a receipt in hand - I should have just kept the boxes and returned them at my destination but it was a safety issue at the time. What I won't accept, though, is the lack of response from this business and in particular, the owner who I was specifically told to contact. It's disheartening that such a positive interaction with this business has led to such disappointment.

They do not like to pick up the phone. I do not recommend UHaul storage at all. You are late 4 days and they put their own lock on your storage unit and then do not want to pick up the phone to get it taken off.

Mismanaged or not managed at all, either are accurate. Zero concern or care for the customer. Don't expect them to use common sense or care at all about how they are doing their job, they won't.
