If I could give 0 stars I would. No one answers the phone and I get being short staffed but cmon. My son’s meds have been given to me late 4x now, I’ve been given misinformation multiple times and no one seems to care much about their customers. My son is only 1 and has epilepsy. You would think they would be more careful about these things but everyone I’ve spoke to was unprofessional and impatient. 5 days ago I was told his meds were not able to be filled for 4 more days. I call back in 4 days later and they now say his script needs to be prescribed again. So a script was sent In hours later and I was told he wld have to wait a day for it to be filled and they had 53 left to give me a PARTIAL refill. (Same as they did last time I called for this) The next day I call rite aid and I was told they no longer had his meds in stock after I spoke to them the day before and they said they had 53. I was mad so I went into the store was told they don’t have any left for sure. So I was trying other pharmacies and getting it figured out. I went back to this rite aid to get his script printed out for another pharmacy to refill it and they suddenly ended up having the meds the whole time it just took me coming back to the store 3x to get them refilled. Just down right crazy in my opinion. But I owe a big thanks to Michale. He helped so much and was nice and caring the entire time after all the craziness.

The pharmacy doesn’t answer the phone. I tried calling yesterday and today, I ended up having to call upfront and the lady tried transferring me to the pharmacy and also put me on hold to see if she can get someone to answer and both times no one answered from the pharmacy. They were also supposed to fill one of my prescriptions a month ago and a month later I still don’t have it.

Pretty decent Rite Aid, they had what I came in for and they had a shelf checkout register so that made it pretty quick.

My medication was ordered FIVE days ago. And I went to pick up and they claim they didn’t know it was there and they needed to order it and it would be THREE more days till delivery. They claim the manufacturer didn’t send it. I’m a nurse so actually know how the process goes. They never requested it 5 days ago because they didn’t see it in their que. they just saw it today when I came to pick up. Instead of apologizing for their mistake they were rude and told me to try a different store if it was that important when truly they should have done that for me and transferred the order to closest store. Thanks for the customer service

Called in to see if they had any Adderall in stock since my pharmacy can’t get it in I was told to call around. They told me they couldn’t check it for me and that was their policy which is weird since I’ve called 4 other riteaids and they told me their stock woman was extremely rude in the phone and transferred me to the pharmacist who left me on hold for 10 minutes

This particular rite aid is terrible. I am on automatic refills and was told me script was ready. When I went to pick it up, they couldn’t find it after spending 30 minutes looking, just to come back and tell me it was never filled and would be ANOTHER wait. The drive thru has been closed for months, the line inside is always ridiculously long, and the pharmacy closes at abnormal hours for lunch (not the ones stated inside the store). The staff is usually always rude and appear to be annoyed with customers coming in for their medications. I will be taking my business elsewhere and encouraging my friends and family to do the same.

Pharmacy isn’t filling prescriptions, answering calls, returning calls, or communicating any issues. Do not use this pharmacy if you expect a script filled within two weeks.

Ive used Riteaid since the change over from Ecker drugs which was quite some time ago..Not once not twice but more then a hand full of times my doctors have sent a Rx for life sustaining medicine only to find days go by and it's not being filled. They NEVER answer the phone or return message left in regards to my Rx. Again a hand full of times it takes me to physically going there waiting in line for 30 to 40 minutes to find out they have yet filled my Rx that was sent in days ago. I understand being understaffed but this did not seem to be the case as I walked in only to find 7 people working behind the counter which infuriated me. I brought up my concerns to the manager but it hasn't changed a thing. This isn't fair to myself or even elderly people who may not have proper transportation to come to the location to REMIND staff they have a Rx that needs filled only to be told it will take 45 minutes to come back then. When I went to MedExpress and I told them to send my Rx to Riteaid I herd similar story's This is totally unacceptable for people that need life sustaining medicine

This place used to where allMy family got their prescriptions. Especially since it’s so close to home. The past few months has been horrible due to them being so short staffed. I’m never rude because I know it’s not the employees fault. They have closed the drive thru completely and anytime I have a script to pick up it takes numerous times trying to pick it up to actually receive it. Since no one answers the phone or calls back ever, you have to physically drive down wait in the line that basically starts when you first walk in the door and have to wait no less than 30 minutes to get to the front of the line. there was even a woman in front of me complaining and the employee straight up told her that they’re advising people to go to other pharmacies because they can’t handle the prescriptions that they have . It’s just sad that this place is gone so downhill and so little time.

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever had the misfortune to use. They never have my prescriptions, which are very common, and take forever to order them. They take forever to fill a script, days on end for immediately needed things like antibiotics or steroids. The service is ridiculously slow, you can wait in line or sit at the drive through for 40 minutes with only 1 or 2 people in front of you. The often do not answer the phone when called, and are rude both on the phone and in person, as if you just walked into their home and asked for dinner instead of to a pharmacy to get paid-for prescriptions. Now, on top of all of that, they have for some unknown reason CLOSED the drive through for prescriptions, and every day I have tried to go inside to get them, the line is literally out wrapped around aisles- over 15 people. Considering it takes them 45 minutes to handle 2 customers, I cannot even imagine the length of time it would take to get through that line, or why on earth they thought it was a good, reasonable idea to close the drive through. Now the service is worse then ever, we have no access to any of our prescriptions, and they seem intent on making every refill a worse and worse experience. I will be going back to using CVS, which I never had a single issue with.

I've used this pharmacy for 7 years and I'm sad to have to leave because it's conveniently located for me. They have been short staffed for a very long time now. It has not improved at all since the pandemic started. They've closed the drive through. The lines inside are halfway to the front doors. They often times only have 1 person available at the pharmacy desk. They never answer the phone in pharmacy. You must drive there with any questions. It takes hours sometimes days to fill a medication that you've called in. I understand it's not the employees fault but management or someone in charge of this store really needs to figure out a solution to their staffing issues.

This pharmacy has officially lost all control. They’ve turned off their phones so there’s no way to contact them. Auto renew prescriptions I’ve had for 8+ years no longer renew automatically because, according to the pharmacist, they’re “a week behind”. So the only way to get your prescription is to go in (drive thru has been closed for months) and wait in line. No matter what time of day or night you go, you will wait a minimum of a half hour. Trust me, I’ve tried every possible time and the line always stretches through the store.Once you do get to the front, they don’t have it filled (because why would they), even if it’s been a week already, so you have to sit and wait for them to fill it. They might do you a favor and let you pay without waiting in the half hour line again. A trip to Riteaid now takes about an hour, if you’re lucky.I cannot for the life of me understand why they aren’t transferring people to a different pharmacy. We’re talking about peoples’ medications that Riteaid is being flippant with. If you can’t handle this many customers, STOP ACCEPTING PEOPLE. Stop the greed and take some steps to show you actually care because this is beyond out of control.Edited to add: you keep saying to call your corporate number but I’ve tried many many times and cannot get through. You’re loosing customers on the daily. Shouldn’t you care about peoples wellbeing? How is any customer supposed to contact you? How can you improve with no possible report system in place?

TLDR: Rude Rite Aid pharmacy employees *literally* called the cops on me because I asked them a question and because I told the customer behind me to shut up when they invaded my private pharmaceutical consultation with rude remarks. And my doctor was on speaker phone the whole time. I recommend literally any other pharmacy in the area.If you want to find the world's worst pharmacy, try Rite-Aid on East Pittsburgh Street in Greensburg. Expect very long wait times to pick up your prescriptions (usually 4-8 hours, sometimes days). Prepare for disrespectful, lazy, and psychotic staff members. If your doctor needs to call the pharmacy for any reason, do not expect them to answer their phone -- all day -- for multiple days of the week.Late 2022 my doctor needed to call Rite Aid to talk to the pharmacist. She called multiple times for multiple days in a row with no response. Finally, while I was on the phone with my doctor, who told me she couldn't get through to the pharmacy once again, I suggested that I take the short drive to Rite Aid, call my doctor, and then we can ask the questions she needs to ask, in person. While I was waiting in line I had my doctor on the phone. When I got to the counter I switched to speakerphone and explained the situation. The pharmacist, a major douche named Tyler, and his deranged old blonde coworker rudely informed me that the only solution to my problem is for my doctor to call their pharmacy.*It is worth noting that my doctor was on speaker phone listening to me and the pharmacists for the entire duration that I was in Rite Aid after getting to the pharmacy counter. She was stunned at how quickly the lunatics running the pharmacy escalated our encounter.*I explained that the pharmacy has not and have not been answering their phones for the span of days. The 2 employees didn't give any sort of explanation, but instead berated me and refused to answer any of my questions. There was one person behind me in line, an old woman who only arrived a minute ago. Against the rules written on every sign in every pharmacy, and against common courtesy, the old hag chimed in during my attempt at a discussion with the employees. This total stranger said I was being rude and wasting her time. At this point I became understandably frustrated and became guilty of the worst sin of all: raising my voice. Zero physical aggression, no swearing or undue disrespect. I told the old woman behind me to "shut up," mostly out of sheer surprise that someone had invaded my private conversation with my pharmacist about my medicine.I f*** you not, dear reader, at this point in the story the blonde hag working at the pharmacy started *screaming* at the top of her lungs. I'm talking, full force old woman who smoked for 10 years yelling as loud as she could. Every single customer in the store must have heard her. What was she saying? "THAT'S IT! I'M DONE! CALL THE COPS! CALL THE COPS! CALL THE COPS!" This went on for about 60 seconds. Non-stop. I stood at the counter in utter shock and awe. I reiterate, the absolute worst "crime" I committed that night was "raising my voice" after enduring terrible customer service and a rude, nosy stranger invading my private pharmaceutical consultation. I never even had the chance to misbehave. So, I walked out of the store and got in my mom's car. She was kind enough to drive me over and was waiting contently. The police arrived within few minutes and approached us. I explained everything, the cops tried to negotiate with the pharmacists to do their job, I kid you not, and the pharmacists refused any further information, and allegedly refuse any future service to me. We left, and now I have this unbelievable experience to dwell on when I think about Rite Aid. Customer support has yet to get back to me about my complaint. Bonkers all around.

I almost never write reviews, but I had to share my experience and vent my frustration with this pharmacy. We have lived in the City of Greensburg for about 4 years now, and until recently, I have (luckily) not needed to have prescriptions filled regularly. I had my first baby this past August and with a baby comes lots of doctors visits and prescriptions. I have one prescription that I need filled each month, and so far, it hasn't been a great experience picking it up. I've learned to get it during the day because it always seems that the drive-thru is closed after working hours.Unfortunately, I got an infection from breastfeeding and required an antibiotic to be filled yesterday after my doctor's appointment at 10:30am. I stopped at the pharmacy via drive-thru to check if it was ready around 12pm. Not ready, no problem, as I needed to pick another prescription for my baby (we tried picking it up previously but it wasn't in stock and needed to be delivered). The lady working the window said it would be ready after 3pm. I go back to work and I get a call from my doctor's office around 2:15pm saying that the pharmacy didn't have the antibiotic I needed in stock so they sent over another script for an alternative. Okay, no problem, just wish they would have told me that earlier when I stopped. I was kind of irritated because this is my second experience needing something that they didn't have in stock. I get done with work at 4pm and need to get my baby from daycare by 4:30pm. On the way from work to his daycare, I stop to pick up my prescription and once again, I find the drive-thru closed. I go in, wait in the long-ish line for about 15 minutes only to be told that it wasn't ready yet and it would be ready in 30 minutes (4:50pm). I'm getting very frustrated at this point, because now I have to come back with my baby and wait in the line again, even though I was told earlier that it would be ready after 3pm. I go pick him up and stop again to get it. Now, I have my baby with me waiting in the even bigger line, which took another 20 minutes of waiting. If the antibiotics weren't need right away (I was in pain and didn't want to risk it getting worse), I definitely would have come back a different day.I am just so frustrated that this type of experience has become so common when needing anything from this pharmacy. As I waited in the line both times, I saw multiple customers having to wait in line only to get to the cashier and be told their prescriptions weren't ready. There seemed to be a lot of angry/frustrated customers like me.
