You need to make a reservation (I made mine by messaging them on Facebook but I believe you can do so on Instagram or their website directly). My husband and I went for a little date night out and we had a lot of fun. There are a lot of options for different types of ceramics from bowls and plates to little figurines. It was a cute place and I think kids and adults alike would enjoy it. Just a nice place to relax and spend some time being creative.

Renee has established a warm and friendly environment for kids and adults of all ages to let their creativity shine through. The atmosphere is perfect for being able to get some guidance on how to create your piece while giving space for self expression. Pottery Playhouse is the kind of place our city needs to bring people together with a relaxed and passionate vibe!

Pottery Playhouse is a wonderful experience of creativity and meditation! I love visiting small businesses in Greensburg and experiencing my city thriving. Such is the case with Pottery Playhouse; it offers a wide variety of projects, and I've never left disappointed. I appreciate Renee's excellent feedback, and when I pick up my pieces, I FEEL like an artist!

What a warm, friendly, fun environment to paint with friends! I appreciate the fact that this business is openly supportive of the LBGQT community. The owner provides a very personal, “homey”, welcoming experience as if you were at your friend’s house to paint some pottery. Highly recommend for a fun group activity!

It’s so relaxing to paint at Pottery Playhouse. If I ever need to destress I make a reservation. The owner is upbeat, friendly and helpful. I always enjoy my visits and my family members love the pieces I create just for them.

Renee is wonderful to work with! She is so knowledgeable about the pottery and paints! Offered great suggestions for our pieces! Went here for my daughter in law’s birthday! Fabulous place! So much fun!

I do not recommend this place for anyone because the owner is rude and does not welcome diversity into her business. Poor customer service! She had a terrible attitude towards me as soon as I walked in the door. The owner gave me unpleasant looks and made me feel uncomfortable being there. I did not say anything because I didn't want to ruin the girls night out. Unfortunately, I was afraid to speak up for myself because I did not want to cause a scene. In addition, I notice there was a discount for students and she questioned me multiple times if I was a student at Pitt. I show her my ID so she can believe I attend Pitt-Greensburg. Lastly, I had recorded videos and took pictures of us to create memories. She approached me with an attitude while I was painting. Asked me what I was trying to accomplish! She told me I was using the wrong color and then took away my piece I was trying to paint. Clearly, she did not want me there. I went to the register to say I'd like to pay for the services you offered but she dismissed me. I had no other choice but to say thank you for her service, and simply leave because she would not let me even pay for the piece or service at all, calling me "just a college student."

When walking into Pottery Playhouse, the owner Renee was disrespectful to my friend, giving her terrible looks. She had a terrible attitude walking up to us as my friend was painting, and then asked us "What we are trying to accomplish" by recording ourselves painting. When anyone goes anywhere with friends or family, people take pictures and record themselves having a good time. Renee even took our pieces away after we offered to pay for them, and for her service. I did not appreciate the clear micro aggression she presented and the attitude she had. She even continued to question my friend if she was a Pitt student! For anyone else thinking about coming here- reconsider.

Went here with a friend and my daughter. Lots of pottery items to choose from! The woman working was super helpful (particularly with my 1 year old, getting a hand and foot print) a unique experience that i would recommend anyone check out while in greensburg.

Very disappointed! Our group traveled to Greensburg to paint pottery as a part of our Girls Weekend. We had confirmed reservations, but when we arrived at the studio it was closed; no one answered phone, text or messages until 12 hours later.

I was so excited when i found thus store on my little walk to my car and came out very disappointed. it seemed like me asking all the questions i did was a bother and made me feel very uncomfortable. customers or potential customers who were willing to bring in alot of people for a fundraising event and also a birthday party shouldnt be treated like i was. I'm sorry but i was super offended when I asked if I could do a personal fundraiser for my handicapped daughter who is 3 and doesnt have much longer on this earth and was told she wasnt comfortable doing a fundraiser to raise my family money and that it was like I was asking her store to just give us money for my family. very upsetting as I was also trying to help a local small business. But she was too proud. as I told her i was also trying to get her more customers if we did a fundraiser at her store she said she already had so many customers and didnt need more and was fine. I mean, the customer service was just not there, or compassion. very unprofessional and a waste of my time and efforts in making a special birthday party AND fundraiser for my daughter. If you didnt need the extra business and are doing so well try making it a little cleaner and have actual prices and a chart of pricing so people dont bother you with questions they have. geesh. do not recommend this place at all unfortunately. It would have been a very unique and memorable time. just not something I want to do now after what was said and portrayed. not a memory I want to keep so its a fat no from me and my whole family. IN REPLY to your response.... Actually your website says nothing about individual fundraisers and not very specific on any information. it also DOES in fact say that you welcome creative ideas from your customers. it doesnt mention anything about tax id numbers or anything. HENCE the reason why I was asking questions but you kept telling me to read the website. I didnt come into the store to be pushed onto my phone and find the answers to my questions. also you really shouldnt have been snobby when I was giving ideas for a fundraiser since I couldn't get any price ranges FOR anything. IM SO GLAD AB CERAMICS AND MORE IN JEANNETTE IS SO ORGANIZED AND IS ACTUALLY POLITE AND WANTS THE EXTRA BUSINESS. I'll definitely be getting more of what I want there and for cheaper prices AND THEY ACTUALLY MAKE THEIR OWN POTTERY FOR EACH INDIVIDUAL CUSTOMER. I'm done wasting my time writing back to you. I no longer want any part of anything with you or your store.
