I am an only child and pressed for time with ordering flowers for my fathers funeral. Not only was I emotional, I had no idea what to even order. They had sympathy, provided the best service, and delivered a quality product in short notice. I can’t thank them enough!

The owner could not have been ruder. I prefer to support small/local businesses but I will never shop/recommend this florist to anyone. The clerk,Becky, was very nice and did a nice job with what wasn’t “already sold for prom”.

Hit or miss. The Valentine's Day flowers, that I sent to my wife at work, did not have a red bow. Also, half of the flowers were missing. To make it clear, I did not send one of the more over priced "Valentine's Day" bouquets. But the customer should be aware of what to expect and what they are paying for!

Absolutely wonderful service! Ordered flowers out of state to be delivered to a family member. They went above and beyond to get the delivery correct. Very kind people. Beautiful arrangements. Highly recommend.

It’s not often that I order flowers to be delivered to another city and feel like I got my money’s worth. This company did an outstanding job! I feel like the flowers delivered were even prettier than what I picked out online. Very pleased with Joseph Thomas Floral. Sincere appreciation.

The flowers that we received were beautiful. Getting the flowers was a pain. I ordered online to have delivered the next day. The delivery driver proceeded to call the recipient to ask if anyone would be home. I don’t know why they wouldn’t call me before they called her. My girlfriend couldn’t answer the phone, she was at work. She tried calling back around 4 o’clock and the phone just kept ringing. Then, she called again and the phone said “line busy”. So, no flowers on the day they were supposed to be delivered and now my girlfriend knows the flowers are coming. Day 2: I tried calling 3 times and every time the line just kept ringing. I called back around 3:30 and finally someone answers. The delivery arrived around 4:30 on the second day. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ORDERING ONLINE FROM THIS SHOP.

Just received these flowers from some good friends for the unexpected passing of our brother. Every one of the small purplish lilies have black on the stems and they are droopy and close to dead! In addition any bud that hasn’t opened are hanging by a thread as it looks like someone hit it up against something ( maybe during transport). Very disappointed and will have to let our friends in Virginia know so they will ensure not to use this flower shop again. You can believe my husband and I won’t use Joseph Thomas Flower Shop ever!

Showed up at the shop needing 2 arrangements 30 minutes before they closed and Mary was absolutely an angel and saved the day. I will never forget the kindness she showed me and the beautiful floral arrangements. I definitely highly recommend!

Disappointed but we have now received an email explaining the flower shortages and high costs due to the pandemic. This should be raised with customers at the very start - most people would understand - and perhaps the online displays could be limited to show only what can be managed at the present time?

I tried calling several times and there was no answer. I then ordered on line. I picked an arrangement that was pictured on their website. The person I had it sent to, sent me a picture and to thank me. I was very upset, it did not look anything like what had I ordered. The one I ordered had red roses in it, the one that was sent had red carnations. It was important to me to be red and white because it was a 50 wedding anniversary which I was a bridesmaid and the colors were red roses and white flowers. No one called me about the substitution or did the price reflect the use of a less expensive flower. I will never use this florist again or recommend them.
