I am done with Giant Eagle! Their check-out system is terrible, with it seems no plan to fix it. They have very few cashiers and the self checkouts continually malfunction with the need for an employee to reset the machine. Today there was one employee to help self checkout. Every single self checkout was open and the machines were continually malfunction. At one point the blinking checkout lights were all on at once and the lines were back into the food aisles. With all the local competition I am not wasting my time there anymore. I can checkout at Aldi or Walmart quickly with no problem. Apparently Giant Eagle values neither our business nor our time.

Ordered a cake for a special retirement party. The cake looked like 2 different people did it, the one word was upside down, the trim around the top of the cake didn’t match, 2 straight trims with 2 curvy. The writing was very small for a sheet cake. Very disappointed.

I have been getting prescriptions for my household at Ge since the 80’s. I have NEVER dealt with someone who was so rude , unprofessional generally nasty every time we pick up or call for prescriptions. Between my husband and I we refill 15 a month. Since no one seems to want to deal with Laurie we will find another pharmacy. This is a real inconvenience for us shame on you!!

Absolutely the worst customer service I've ever experienced in a grocery store. Employess ignore you unless you are checking out, then they watch you like a hawk. Prices are outrageous and product availability is terrible.

This might actually be my favorite grocery store but it is hard to take spots in town that are best. I'd say this, the one on the other side of town are tied. All the departments and conveniently placed by a home improvement and pet store. They have great deli and seafood. I can't remember not finding something..... ever. That means alot for a grocery store. Watch out cause people try to not see you in a cross walk and the parking lot is a bit crowded at times but it is a huge plaza so just park away a bit if you like paint to stay on your vehicle. The checkouts are a bit slow but it isn't supposed to be hugely fast. It is a quality stop for food especially if you have a slightly different shopping list or emphasize freshness and like to do it in person.
