Greeted by a person right at the door and asked me what I needed help with. Took me right to the item I needed. Confirmed what I needed and walked up to the counter to cash out. Easy and friendly.

Pretty convenient store to shop at locally. It's easier to get to than Lowe's, but I find the prices to be a little bit higher sometimes. I think that's a reasonable difference though.Their lack of assorted pieces makes it a gamble to shop here though. I rely on hardware stores like this to find the 'hard to find' items, and it's a shame to say that the majority of the time I end up going to the big boxes because Bortz doesn't have what I'm looking for. It looks like they have lots of space, not sure why some items aren't kept in better stock!

Really nice guys both on the phone and in person. I only a small C-ring to fix a necklace that was important to me, and he said I could simply take it since it was inly 19 cents. Small act of kindness there but it was really nice. Will come back here if I need to.

I was looking for shelf clips that I couldn't find, even on line, for an old shelving set-up in a closet. I thought if Bortz Hardware doesn't have them, I may not be able to find them anywhere. Well, sure enough, they had exactly what I needed! When the very nice lady who helped me showed the clips to me I was so happy! I said "Thank You Jesus!"They work perfectly, and I say "Thank Bortz Hardware for being there, and for carrying those hard to find items!"
