“I remember coming to The Warehouse when I was in about 6th or 7th grade. I went occasionally on Sundays. My family stopped going for for personal reasons. (They still don’t.) In the time that I didn’t go, I ended up falling into a pretty dark place. I figured some stuff out, and started making an effort to show up on Sundays. Soon enough, I got plugged into the worship team here, and I met my church family. And just like that, my life was turned around. I went to Vertical Camp for the first time and got baptized. Through the ministry here at The Warehouse, I have experienced Jesus in a way that my words alone cannot explain. Through the people that God has put in my life through this ministry, my heart has opened up to allow Jesus to become the change in me.At The Warehouse, we are taught the truth. The stuff that we all can comfortably talk about, but also, more times than not, the things that are usually tucked away in the dark. Things that we don’t usually talk about, but should. Pastor JD and Joel are not afraid to talk to the students about things that are uncomfortable to talk about. And that is a great example of what a life with Jesus looks like. God calls us to step OUT of our comfort zone. He constantly challenges us to allow him to work in us, and do extraordinary things in His name. That is just the tip of the iceberg of things that students learn at The Warehouse. The students do not only LEARN about Jesus at The Warehouse, but they go out and SERVE in his name. The yearly High School mission trip to El Salvador and the Middle School mission trip to New York (places sometimes vary per year) is a GREAT example of this. The Warehouse doesn’t only help students who are struggling, but encourages them to do the same. This is an awesome place, and even a more awesome ministry. ANYONE is welcome at The Warehouse. And I recommend it to ANYONE who is hurting, struggling, or just in need of answers. Because here, we experience the God who saves.”
