Charter Oak Church is truly a spiritual haven. The warm and welcoming atmosphere immediately puts you at ease. The sermons are thought-provoking, offering insights that resonate beyond Sunday mornings. The sense of community here is strong; you're not just a face in the crowd, but part of a caring family. The diverse range of programs cater to all ages, making it a great place for families to grow together in faith. If you're looking for a place where faith, fellowship, and personal growth intertwine, Charter Oak Church is the place to be.

Nice facility, nice people, they don't seem to teach about the wages of sin being death. I was married there , whereupon we met for pre marital class the pastor told if ever we had problems to come and see him because he’d fight for our marriage, we liked that as we both had prior marriages years before that ended due to our spouses. We dated for 5 years of bliss. Two year after the wedding I sensed something was amiss so I reached out via email stating o requested some pastoral support/assistance, because I feared for my marriage, he responded telling me he only gets involved if both people request help! I was devastated as what he joined in marriage he promised to fight for the marriage (there was no infidelityy) never an unkind word to each other. I needed help yet I was denied. When meeting him later on he was a nervous wreck, he actually said he never said and I quote “I’ll fight for your marriage” he then said I misunderstood him because he told me he said I’ll fight for “Y’all s marriage “ he’s not Southern. Aside from that though hedidn’t say that, it means the same thing!! Moral of this true story don’t be fooled. I was never so hurt, saddened and Disappointed in a “pastor” in my life. Do with my truth what you will, as a devout Christian myself I was quite the fool. Since then I have spoke to many other clergy from several churches who said it is incumbent on them when the join couples in marriage to respond when called upon no myof it’s one person or both.

They are amazing. They accept you for who you are. I love the friendliness and how giving if their time they are. I love how there are so many volunteers there to help with the community food bank.

in bereft land, the raven flies. birth. we call. you and i look up to see, resplendant glory. the raven. we open our mouths to partake of the ravens fruit. and the raven satisfies strong flowing, deep currents of desire. but we bite the hand, the food is insubstantial. we punish the raven, but she knows it not.
